I saw SBS5173C and SBS8627R on 168 last Saturday while the rest are DDs ...
Capacity reduction observed on bus service 243. Probably because they want to rationalise resources with bus service 258, there are fewer Volvo B9TL Double-Decker buses and more Mercedes-Benz Citaro Single-Decker buses on bus service 243. Meanwhile, bus service 258 continues to enjoy a full fleet of Volvo B9TL Double-Decker buses.
In other news, there's one Volvo B9TL Double-Decker bus permanently deployed on bus service 242.

242 has had 1 perm DD for years now. 243G was full fleet SD, now 50% DD. 243W has a lot of DDs. I have suggested before also: In PM, they should have the fleet between 243G and 243W reversed.
Anyway, frequency is 03 mins on both services so not so bad actually + no new development along their route - so loading will remain constant for now.

Then you should use your powerful suggestion to change a few DDs block on 83/85 to SDs

Nearly every SD I see on 88 is full, even on weekends and off peak hours!
And I mean full as in people being unable to board.
Yesterday, I even saw 3x 88 KUBs bunched at Punggol Road near TPE towards Pasir Ris.
Accordingly to Bishan/TPY GRC MP update, there are additional trips(assuming it is fleet add) for the following services serving TPY/Bishan/Balestier since Sept 2016
Sv5
Sv53 (1147)
Sv56 (1094)
Sv57 (6887)
Sv58 (6892/2004)
Sv90 (1088)
Sv93
Sv124 (1173)
Sv132
Sv145 (anyone what bus went into sv145?)
Sv151
Sv153
Sv155 (6578)
Sv186 (6576)
Sv518
Sv980
and there is additional DD added for Sv50 since sept 2016 as well...anyone can confirm which DD is consistently on sv50? we know that there is two SD fleet add in Sep/Oct, but then one of the SD is already out (so maybe replace by random DD?)

Hi mr carbikebus, I just saw 1 bus on service 83 Sbs 3510B from Sengkang back to Punggol which has DD loading. Haha. Maybe just a few trips have DD loads. Shiok no need squeeze like mad. Maybe the authorities continue to put DD just for a few trips which are DD worthy. Cheers. Thanks.
