Off peak just use 1 SD. Peak hour 4 DD 1 SD
Svc 3 ought to upsize from 4 SD to DD..Can exchange 2 SD each to svc 83 & 85.
Svc 136 need 2-3 DD..Can again exchange with those 2.
Weekdays for svc 3 is 21 buses..If upsize can do with 20 buses ie;12 SD & 8 DD
Saturdays also need 5 DDs running full day because of frequencies..Only 18 running and Sunday worse at only 16 buses..
136 running with 19 buses during weekdays and 17 & 16 for Sat and Sun respectively. If Saturdays and Sundays running with 2 DDs at least can tank passengers especially at Chomp2.
83 can run with 4 SD & 4 DD while 85 is good with 10 DD and 4 SD

Siao la you..I ever drive 43M with both SD and DD..43/43M interline with each other..Not separate duties..43/M nowadays can run with 21 DD and 5 SD..
They can do 43 like 17 DD & 4 SD while 43M with 3 SD and 3 DD
When 258 amendment takes place next week, I hope they would adjust 243's capacity accordingly. 243 will observe an increase in loading, as people switch from 258 to 243.

Today spot only 6 DDs on 965
258 appears to have downsized. At least 2 SDs were running on Wed and 1 SD today.

Good mah,No need to be full DD also.
247 & 248 also doesnt deserved to be full DD.For the time being 247/248 can deploy with 4 DD / 3 SD & 4 DD / 4 SD respectively

Good move, but later confirmed some people will start complaining that 258 is downsized 'only' because it ceased to call at Boon Lay Int, and that it should be amended back to the interchange etc...
Today 258 spotted 3 SD(2 KUB and 1 Citaro)
Just wondering why 184 did not get new double decker buses and continue using bendies all these while. Is it due to the low tree branches along Cashew Road?
This also explains why 75 did not get double deckers as well.
For 962, height constraints along Sembawang Drive and Admiralty Street?
962 not at all. But for 75 it has nothing got to do with the trees: the demand is just low

For now,184 & 962 will use bendies until they retire..Will see DD deployed once more DD coming in.75 added so many buses and its doing fine with SD.

No height restriction on any of the routes.
75 loading doesnt justify DDs like others mentioned
184 is best with bendies given the high alighting/boarding activity at Clementi MRT with 70-80 pax alighting and 70-80 pax boarding at same stop. 184 always hogs the bus stop for a long time.
962 route is like patch work and acts like a short feeder. Hence, upper deck will remain empty most times. Woodlands - Ave 5, Ave 5 - Admiralty, Sembawang Cres - Sembawang, Sembawang - Sembawang Dr. I would prefer bendies over DDs for 962 till we can.
