So 134 is the new MP svc?

What Chai Chee needs is a trunk service and not two feeders. Hence, I proposed that 26 be extended to CBP or UEC (latter if 45 is diverted to CBP). 26 this way would connect Chai Chee to Paya Lebar (CCL), Eunos/Kembangan and Tanah Merah.
Modifying sv 26 route will not inconvenience people and will also help revive its loading (today it is just treated as back up service with meagre 14 SDs).
Some existing bus routes can be amended to ply Chai Chee. 30, 33 & 854 are the best choices as there are plenty of bus routes along New Upper Changi Rd that serve Kembangan MRT.

I will take the shortest route of the 3.

26 is the right choice. It is duplicative to other services, so people will not get inconvenience with the diversion. Moreover, 26 should be extended via Chai Chee, Bedok North to CBP.
We might as well be discussing the resurrection of Chai Chee Bus Terminal if that's the case. The bus terminal was closed for a reason in 1985.

There is no need for bus terminal. All you need at Chai Chee is a trunk that connects it to Eunos-Bedok North-Tanah Merah.
Chai Chee has enough HDBs and industrial/commercial complexes to warrant a trunk. 229 can be edited to ply directly from Bedok Interchange to Bedok South road, skipping Chai Chee.
please comment my route. new service introduction 46
eunos interchange -> sims ave east -> chai chee dr -> chai chee st -> bdk nth av 1 -> bdk nth st 3 -> bdk nth av 2 -> bdk nth road -> bdk north ave 4 -> upp changi rd (new stop) -> tanah merah kechill road (new stop) -> tnm mrt -> bedok road -> uec terminal.
new connection for all of chai chee, bedok north, tnm kechill.
45 go cbp as per voting result.

I suspect 229 (formerly 219) absorbed a portion of the old route 224, hence the detour into Chai Chee.
Also, if you checked my proposal for Routes 16, 32 & 33, you'd have noticed Chai Chee Dr features in it. My amended Route 16 will call at two new stops on Chai Chee Dr towards Bedok.
Anyone got the Svc 805 regoes today?

One of the buses is SMB3165Z.
How many buses is 805 running on? At 7km, I would assume 3?
Consider this rationalisation:
26 extended to CBP as per Mr BusAnalyers's proposal
16 amended to ply Siglap Rd > Chai Chee St > Bedok North Av 1 > Bedok Int
197 amended and enhanced to ply Siglap Rd > Upp East Coast Rd > Bedok South Av 1 > Bedok South Rd > Bedok North Av 1 > Bedok Int
155 extended to Bedok by via Siglap Rd > Marine Parade Rd > Bedok South Av 1 > Bedok South Rd > Bedok Int
135 extened to Eunos via Siglap Rd > East Coast Rd > Frankel Av > Changi Rd > Jln Turi > Eunos Int
55 terminates at a roadside (in-out) terminal at Siglap Link
- Chai Chee is finally better served with connections to amenities in Geylang Serai, Marine Parade and CBP, and a new MRT connection at Kembangan.
- Kembangan/Changi Rd has a new connection to Marine Parade
- Victoria School's key bus connections are not affected
4 Citaro 1 MAN on 805
SMB3165Z SMB148T SMB142J SMB167M SMB173U
4 Citaro 1 MAN on 805
SMB3165Z SMB148T SMB142J SMB167M SMB173U
I would not encourage 155 to end at Bedok, Interchange like gonna explode already even after u take out 26. I rather it goes to BNDEP or PSR

Thank you very much for providing the info.
Lets see if the Citaros are perm on 805.
With 860 also 95% Citaros, I suspect LTA has already bought over the SMRT Citaros as part of their BSEP fleet.
Or they use SMB3145G SMB3146D SMB3164B SMB3165Z and maybe 3123U

Not only those have 9 buses (8 Citaro)
140P 145B 148T 167M 173U 184M 186H 188C 3165Z
If also have 142J means 10.. (so many?)

Overkill....
For similar route length the old Svc 803 (St 61 segment 812) had only two to start with (TIB45D, TIB46B) and later only added one more (TIB42L) total 3. The old 805 (St 81 segment 811) only had 2 (TIB34K, TIB37C) before it merged with 801.
New 805 and 860 become Shitaro dump ground...

10 bus for 7km route? It is like frequency will be less than 5 mins sia

At 30mins trip time 30/9+1 = 3 mins interval max. Expect to see a lot of bunching and empty buses until the new flats TOP. Alr got 117 direct to Khatib MRT now.
Wah,so many buses for such a short route?Amdep can take it or not?851,854,855 all partial Wldep leh.
Shock n awe for 805 for intro...
Prob big shot MP/Minister at launch event...
Citaros are still SMRT, not LTA's, shifted fr KJ...
sv16 was extended to Bedok to fill partially e gap left after CSS608 was withdrawn even though it took a few years...
As for Chai Chee, diverting 1/2 routes to/fro Bedok Int esp those tt are already duplicated, eg 25

What about layover breaks? It should be (30+10)/9 = approx. 4.4 mins frequency, 4 minutes frequency if there are 10 buses.

It is probably because 805 is a feeder bus service.
Meanwhile, 258 only has six buses, with a poor frequency of at least ten minutes, and it is very un-reliable at Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
I understand 258 is supposed to relieve loading off 243G and 181, but... at least put 258 in the same berth as 243G mah... :( anyway, 258 loading is quite encouraging...
but, really, 258 only has six buses, whereas 49 at lakeside has so many buses and the frequency is better. so unfair. :(
why LTA did not deploy a mixture of bus models on 258, like some dd some sd.. then the frequency can be slightly better.
... but at least put 258 next to 243G at Boon Lay Bus Interchange leh....
Meanwhile, feeder bus 242 also experiencing long queues. it would be good if we can re-route 258 to help 242 with the loading going to/fro Jurong West Street 72.
generally, I am glad that LTA at least introduced 258, but I am disappointed that LTA did not maximise the potential of 258 in improving and enhancing the bus connections in Jurong West. If I were to rate 258, out of ten points I would only give around five or six. There are at least two rooms for improvement.
first room for improvement: enhance frequency.
second room for improvement: re-route to serve street 72, to help relieve 242 high loading.
