Won't be that easy. 47 also connects East Coast road to Marine Parade road and that connection will be lost. Many people do take it to the shophouses and i12 Katong mall around that stretch.
And what's the purpose of extending 135? It is not that people from Aljunied or Circuit road are going to take the bus to CBP.

SBS Transit has not provided any direct bus or MRT service between Hougang/Sengkang/Punggol and Jurong Industrial Estate for so many years before BCM, and has not been fined for that?
Subject to minimum demand is not an excuse because it is not 1 town but 3. LTA can easily introduce a bus service from Sengkang/Punggol to Boon Lay via TPE/SLE/BKE/KJE.
Seriously? Not even a service plying TPE/SLE/BKE/KJE?
with 500, it leaves Punggol without a link to Jurong Industrial.
in addition, it also lacks a link to CBD, not counting CDS.

This is far too long nowadays, which nowadays you don't see a bus service from Joo Koon to Simei, or Tuas Industrial Estate to Punggol, and maybe MRT Rationalisation.

I don't see the problem since LTA got cover their backside with the last point (in red). If only got small to non-existent demand, and there's the MRT anyway, then why need a bus service? Do you want to pay for the operation of running such a bus service?
