Sv150 is an offspring of sv15 when sv15 went into marine crescent/terr between 1995 to 1998.
After that it was withdrawn when sv15 skipped that section after telok kurau rd. the next bus stop is tao nan school.
Just guessed it right that one day marine terr will have two services in the opposite direction where sv76 is now doing,
Sv134 should be using DDs, maybe even the buses from sv76 if sbst is willing to.
Sv150 highly likely to use Sds, given it being parallel to sv15 route.
Sv76 should have just merged with sv150 route instead, then again DDs wont be able to clear the telok kurau stretch..

Plenty of services that need more DDs than services like 119.

amazing at massaging figures, as well as artificially inflating BSEP route count with seemingly obscure routes
Telok Kurau stretch is abke to use dds, wide enough

Hi mr SBS3004X, service 49 is counted 2 times, not 3. Your facts are wrong. First is introduction of service which is counted as BSEP. The so called addition of 3 bus stops was not counted as BSEP. The last time of extending to jurong east interchange is counted as BSEP. Hope this clarifies. Cheers. Thanks.
Ask pax of sv76 to transfer to 43/134. But if u have to wait 10-15 mins for a 76, the last thing u need is to wait another 10-15 min for a 134/43

Dun mind u can tell which SV need more DDs? I think SBST services are mostly doing ok right now. It is SMRT service which are short of DD. Think LTA can transfer a few smrt service to sbst.

to list a few:
103, 136, 138, 166 (requires full DD)
Route 13 in no danger from 150 yeah?

169 for one. Can go 1-for-1 with 103. Another would be 176.

169 swap with 117 better

103 - agree. should have 6 DDs, 10 SDs.
136 - really? even the SDs find it hard to get full except for few timings. Will be another 119 case.
138 - okay but got massive SD add
166 - do you know how many DD->SD downgrades this service got? Doesn't have such high demand.
Originally posted by Acx1688:Telok Kurau stretch is abke to use dds, wide enough
The Parkway East Hospital side doesn't. Hence, 15 hasn't got DDs. That is the pain point.
Would have been good if 150 would have done Marine Parade loop, and 15 go direct to Marine Parade via Still road and get DDs.
Originally posted by SBS6465E:150 is just ridiculous. I give up on LTA. There seem to be narrow interest groups they want to serve in the Marine Parade/East Coast area. LTA doesn't seem to realise there are areas with extremely poor connections (Kembangan, Siglap, Chai Chee, Joo Chiat) and it would be greatly appreaciated if they did something for these areas.
Agree. 150 is ridiculous.

47 is way better than 150. At least it has uniqueness to connect Bedok South road to Marine Parade & CBP.
150 really wtf???
Not saying 47 is excellent either - just better than 150. Marine Parade just has way too many services with so many now running empty.

136 - peak hour packed with students at Kovan
166 - peak hour packed with students at amk, back to back SDs on the slots
To be honest, it would be better to merge 15 with 134 as 150 already covers service 15 route

strangely, 103 had 5 DDs yesterday as reported
All, let's anticipate the towns which will have new services under BSEP in Q2 2016. Q1 2016 is almost over. Cheers. Thanks.

There are weird sightings of training buses in SBS Transit livery in Jurong West. From my understanding, Seletar also has weird sightings of training buses in SBS Transit livery. These could be an indication of either a new bus service, or route amendment, coming soon.

Another way would be to have 134 integrate with 150 (ply Sims Ave/Geylang Rd/Changi Rd and follow 150's route to Marine Terrace via Still Rd/Joo Chiat Pl/Telok Kurau Rd), while leaving 76 untouched to Marine Terrace. All in all, 134 could have just been 1 new service itself without the need to touch 76 or introduce 150 if this method is used.

There is no need for More DDs for these 2 services. The current fleets is enough to meet the demand.
As for sv 138, right now the fleet is doing ok with fleet add/138a/138b. Demand are mostly one directional n Mandai road is too narrow for DDs also

They could have just merge 134/150. Sims drive to Eunos.(with red/white plate ).

SDs can tank the load on 136 easily. Observed so many times 136 having 40-50 pax only during peak hours at Kovan (which is the highest loading point of the service by the way).
166 is also doing okay with current fleet. There are multiple other services parallel to route of 166.
132/165 parallel from AMK to Macritchie.
167/980/132 parallel from Upper Thomson to PIE junction
851/980 parallel all the way to Rochor
Also 56/57 join the route in between.
