Welp, messy it might seems, but at least the operators alone can do dual depot control, save travelling time.
I was hoping Kumho come spice things up but it is too late now i suppose.
In that case, the following is the best arrangement:
TT - Bulim
Clementi
GAG - Loyang
Hougang (if SBST retained Bukit Merah)
SBST - Seletar
Bishan
Bukit Merah
Serangoon
Bedok
Tampines (if Hougang went to GAG)
SMRT - Sembawang
Woodlands
Chua Chu Kang
Jurong West
Got a feeling some of GAS B9TL will be place on storage
I hope LTA will consider to revised 160 & 170/A/X back to Clementi package.48 & 174/174e can go to Bukit Merah package instead.
I wonder why SBST havent start the single depot control like what other Operators already done..Too many depots?

Can like that meh? They got three depots and they used to practice the style also what.
So you mean if GAS wins Bt Merah,Svc like 2,5 & 12 all can dual depot control?
So SBST 852 can also Sedep/Bbdep also?

LTA only bought over their assets. How sbst and smrt want to manage their current bus ops is still up to them. SMRT chose to change to the single depot system themselves.
But once the new packages up for bidding i dont think such a system will be used anymore, as all services under a package will operate from a single depot (ie lta already specified all svcs under seletar package will operate from seletar depot, and bt merah package from ulu pandan depot.)
So no way of 852 being under se and bb dual

Isn't BCM already enforce?Maybe manpower problems that hinder SBST from doing so currently?
Even with BCM in full swing in Perth, some bus routes are still dual depot controlled. I know Canning contract buses under TT sometimes serve on Southern River routes, and vice versa. In the old days when Path Transit still controlled the northern suburbs, Marmion and Joondalup buses were interchangeable.

SBST for sure will guaranteed major share..I am not too sure about TTS,GAS and SMRT.
Bukit Merah and Sembawang are likely to be held by the incumbents.

Yes if they play their lowest bidding game..
At least give TTS and GAS 2 contract each if they really wanna the lowest biddings..

If SBST hold on to Bukit Merah GAG can have Hougang. But SBST mustn't be allowed to take part in that round.

Hi mr iveco, everybody should be able to bid. Cheers. Thanks.

In Perth, TT wasn't able to defend Kalamunda after wresting Marmion. We should implenent same rule to prevent monopoly.

Hi mr iveco, there are already 4 here. No more monopoly. Up to the people who choose. Regardless of the need to set rules, the authorities can just pick different ones if they want to. Cheers. Thanks.

Trust me it won't happen..They and SMRT has shareholders to answer for.I don't mind SBST is the main player but at least gave TTS/GAS to secure at least 2 contracts each.GAS got rail experience and TTS can learn from the system also.
GAS can retain Loyang & win CCK-BPJ while TTS retain Bulim and win HGN-SKG.
GAS runs NSL/BPJ LRT while TTS can handle NEL/SKG-PGL LRT.
SMRT retain SBW-YIS,Ulu Pandan and Bedok while running TEL & EWL.
SBST retain Jurong West,Clementi,BSN-TPY,Tampines,SGN-EUN & win Woodlands and run the DTL and CCL.

That's utter bull.. Just look at the amount of SDs on 12. It's horrible.

Compared to SBST last time:19 DD / 6 SD,Now with only 20 DD / 5 SD(Jump bus) and LTA want it that way..
But its freaking ridiculous to see 83 & 85 full DDs when their loadings nowhere near svc 3 loadings.
