136 better to swap for 109 to reduce dead runs. I have been saying it from day #1.
Can consider merging 117 with 883 to become 1 SMRT trunk service.

I actually think it's better to keep 117 and 883 as separate services in the long term, as one service will probably not be enough for the whole Canberra estate. Furthermore, 117's demand for the rest of its route is unlikely to deserve the same frequency as 883's route in Canberra when it is fully developed.

they need about 10 bendy buses so that service 24 can still use with service 800 or 804.
I don't think for now SBST plan using A24 for service 24,Maybe for service 800 only.
I think the reason why Bukit Merah package may go to SMRT is because of the following things -
Some places, like Woodlands Checkpoint and JB Checkpoint, can only use bendy buses as high capacity buses; no double-deck. That's why award to SMRT, as only SMRT has bendy buses.
20 bendy buses are definitely needed to cater to 160/170 crowds. Bendy bus will be needed for services 16, 57, 93, 120, 121, 122, 131, 145, 195, 272, 273, 400 and 402, which will be redeployed from all other services in Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands and Yishun.
SMRT need to pester more bus services and placed a lower bid, Jiaoyun/Travel GSH will not do so because they don't have the experience in double decker bus industry.
Note: Bus drivers won't lose job because of BCM. The incoming operator must offer affected bus drivers a job at the new company, with conditions no worse than the incumbent operator.
i don't think most interchange can have bendy buses. example Bishan and Toa Payoh. so stop this bendy crap.
Theres also not enough WAB bendies to go around unless LTA decides to buy more, which as of now there isn't the slightest sniff or sign of.
145 already has DD. 93 has had low loading since CCL opened.
SBS Transit will be having a open house on 27/Jan at seletar depot...
free shuttles from Yishun/AMK/YCK bus interchanges..
SBST has been around for more than 40 years still need a grand opening?
Will SMRT do the same if they retain Sembawang?

To show Yishun residents that they control those feeders, 851 & 852.

Don't they already operate routes 39 and 103?

Residents already knew that but this time we're talking about SMRT service that they've taken over.
My guess for Bt Merah winners
1:SMRT
2:Tower Transit
3:Shenzhen
