Not sure if we will be getting a new government in 2020 lol.

1. They still make use of AMK depot for whatever reason
2. They get extended to SEDEP. Pretty sure they will continue wif the current routing to connect to YCK road, but not sure if they would serve the NCS Hub bus stops, and/or a new pair of bus stops along YCK Cresent b4 entering SEDEP
3. They get squeezed into YCK Int
Can't see why they shouldn't be allowed to terminate at AMDEP if it is still managed by SBST.

But again its up to LTA since they owned all the assets and infrastructures.Otherwise why SMRT die2 follow the single depot controlled concept when they can easily retain partial control for service 61,67,969,985 etc?
SBST because their BOL haven't expired and they got lots of depot islandwide.
Originally posted by carbikebus:Bt Merah winner announcement took so long and I'm not surprised if SBST is the winner judging by Seletar style.
I'm guessing it will be SBST or maybe SMRT since their bid is lower than SBST... if other operators win then they'll probably need to transfer SPAD-registered KUBs of 160/170 to these operators or worse, have to register some shitaros with SPAD.. If SMRT win can at least use OCs or A22s for cross-border routes.

Who knows, maybe the reason why the results arent released yet coz they are in the midst of registering citaros to cross borders, and so non-incumbents can also win the bid.
Anyways, dunnid to make citaros sound so bad. As long as u put a bus for cross-border, they will "age" faster than their local counterparts. Don't u realise all these KUBs are like rattling as if they are going to tear apart anytime. U put a citaro in the same situation and the same thing happens. Too bad we cant turn back time when buses seemed to be more sturdy
Why Citaro can't use for cross border when its engine restriction is limit to 70kmh?And furthermore most cross border acceleration is a bit smoother than local usage one. They also have more than 2 months to study JB routes mah..I can guaranteed 80% of the cross border BCs will follow the new operator.

Imgaine SBST's competitors gaining control over HGDEP, SLBP and BBDEP in future.
Ideally, TT should operate from BUDEP and BBDEP, GA from LYDEP and HGDEP, SMRT from SLBP, MDDEP, GBDEP and WLDEP and SBST from the remaining depots (SEDEP, UPDEP, AMDEP, KCDEP, BNDEP and ECID).

it seem like SBST will be using batch 1/2 citaros for seletar package as well due to shortage of buses..... some of them on current perm seletar service come with new ads and also with the red tyre indicator...and also with new perm sticker on coinbox...
also, SBST should be continuing perm bus system for Seletar package.. sedep have been putting new perm stickers on coinbox of citaros recently.......
hoping to see perm stickers on A22...
SBST recruiting quite aggressively recently, probably won the Bt Merah Bus package?

Seletar package should have done more than half a year ago
Only less than 150 SMRT BC follow SBST for Seletar,Dont forget a lot of retirement for their BCs islandwide.Dont forget the jumpship of BCs among those operators

Everywhere they test what. They have many double deckers around. Double deckers made their debut in Sembawang Bus Interchange, on 11 June 2007 using Volvo B9TL / CDGE double deckers before service 117 and 883 began operation under the Bus Services Enhancement Programme in December 2015 and October 2016.
Got a feeling that lta will announce the result next week after CNY.

got 147e and 7a/7b for them.. probably need more bc
Every operators having recruitment even for SMRT which lost majority of Yishun svc.BCs come and goes,TTS & GAS sponsor class 4 for its class 3 new BCs,so why not they joined and resign after 6 months?
I think 110 & 944 contract is valid till 2021 until the Bulim & Sengkang-Hougang package is up for bidding.
For 974,its up to 2023 when the CCK-BPJ tender is up for bidding.
