Exactly what a buangkok resident would wish for I guess - links to Serangoon/Buangkok. Didn't see this before posting in the compssvale thread. However, wondering if it could follow 27's route to Compassvale Int from Buangkok instead for faster links to Sengkang? As I guess the walking distance to Compass One ain't too far from Compassvale Interchange, and a more direct route might be preferred? Thanks

Creative but IMO odd and unrealistic. I find it caters too much to students, but i may be wrong. In fact, the routing in woodlands is SOO weird. In fact IJC can be supplemented by another service but not the way this is routed. Maybe share more of ur rationale so that i can understand better :)
In fact, if you are looking for such services, BeeLine is currently having a crowdstart route frm sembawang-woodlands to buona vista. Bus plus will be operating, but only if 22 more ppl vote for it within the nxt 54 days.

If my suggested route 323 removed and only got this route and 101, then Buangkok Crescent and Hougang 1 so near but no direct link leh...
But if all have then Buangkok Crescent might jam.

There was 2A before but withdrawn because sv 2 has high loading throughout its route even at Kallang/Bugis/Geylang. So I am not sure 2M is required. Even if launched, should be full fleet DD.
Citaros won't be abel to tanke the loading between Loyang and Bedok.

But my route does offer them access to Hougang1 from YCK road - short walking distance + connects them directly to CCL and closest MRT that is Buangkok + hawker center @ Buangkok, Kopitiam @ Sengkang and Compass1 mall. So should be okay IMO even if don't have direct link to Hougang1. Many places in Hougang don't have direct link to Hougang1 and survive on other malls.

If 84 is extended to Compassvale, the last thing I want to see is a route that's overly duplicative to other services. So here's my proposal.
Compassvale Int
Compassvale Rd
Compassvale Cres (New bus stop)
Compassvale St
Sengkang East Rd
Punggol Way
Punggol Field
Punggol Walk (New bus stop)
Punggol Ctrl (Stops at Waterway Point bus stop like 381)
And original route to Punggol Rd End and back.
- Serves Compassvale Cres without amending 83 or introducing another super short feeder, while providing them direct link to Waterway Point
- Serves Punggol Walk (although I'm not sure if there are any new developments there)
- Bus stop at Punggol MRT/Waterway Point still ensures link from Punggol Road to MRT. Bus interchange is also accessible for transfer to other services (via underpass if necessary)
- Walk from Compassvale Int to Sengkang MRT may be a bit inconvenient for Compassvale Cres residents, but there are no better solutions (as LTA is reluctant to modify services at Sengkang Int)

Hi mr array88, this is a good route only if compassvale crescent can run into compassvale st. At ris moment, this is not allowed. The road structure is not ready for this turn.
