Suggested to LTA before; they declined with reasons that current services are enough and amendment would break link between Bedok Reservoir area & Bedok South, or the sorts...
Service 12e amendment
Route Variants must start from the same bus interchange of its parent route.
What we need is bus service parallel to all existing MRT lines.
Northeast:SVC from Hougang and Punggol
North:From AMK and Yishun
West:From Boon Lay and Bt Merah
Northwest:Bt Batok and CCK
East: Tampines and Bedok

123M is HarbourFront-Tiong Bahru still, but this is still essential for those requiring to Bukit Purmei.
2A, 7A and 7B is introduced to relieve surge pricing for Grab and Uber.
12e and 147e are introduced not just to get used to 0% car growth but provide routings for those who haven't took before it was rerouted / withdrawn in the GCM (Bedok South Road - Rochor Road in last 518 / before it was moved to KPE & Marina Boulevard), (Chinatown - Clementi Road in last CT28, however it turned out to be entry point at Portsdown Road and exit point at Lower Delta Road instead, because there are several routes using that stretch)

53M used to loop around Kovan. when was amended to terminate at Hougang?
123M and 123M used to terminate at HarbourFront. while 123 was extended to Sentosa, 123M remains as it is. though, both 123 and 123M starts from Bukit Merah.
should new variants start and/or terminate at at interchange that its parent svc do not call?

53M terminates at HG Int after a few trips... Regularly use HG St 21 as turnaround point
For 123/M
from
123: Bt Merah - Bt Purmei
123M: Tiong Bahru - Bt Purmei
to
123: Bt Merah - Harbourfront
123M: Harbourfront - Tiong Bahru
to
123: Bukit Merah - Sentosa
123M: Harbourfront - Tiong Bahru

25e and 76e is unnecessary since the fleet got good frequency and there is no parallel route along MRT.If every SVC got e variant die la interchange packed with buses waiting for parking.
91 and 191 can integrate and future new SVC can reuse 191.
84 can renumbered to 384.
How about 80E running between Sengkang (Compassvale) and Chinatown on a limited stops basis? Use PIE/CTE from Paya Lebar flyover.
Also 143E from Jurong East to Orchard Boulevard. Can run express after West Coast Road towards Lower Delta (skip HPV and HBF portion, use AYE).

66e to support large areas along DTL stations, but have to run on full mercedes benz citaro
167E to support upcoming TEL, NSL and EWL (minor portion), idk if can deploy DD since 167 itself is not DD for some reason
the problem is that it is very hard to support stations that are kind of isolated such as stadium, caldecott, one-north and kent ridge in the event of a breakdown

Isolated stations well bridging buses can take care of that,What we need is compliments from main busy stations..
Bus services in need of limited-stops variant:
172 (express between Jalan Bahar and Brickland Road; better than having 974)
185 (express between Jurong West Ave 3 and Clementi Ave 6)
154 (express between Taman Jurong and Clementi Road, terminate at Toa Payoh)
Basically, those that have passengers travelling throughout the route, from one end to another, and are very very pack during peak hours.

If 989 revives,should 985 be withdrawn?

Agreed that 84 should be renumbered
Should become a feeder service, possibly can amend such that it serves some parts of Punggol North once done
LTA should be planning a new feeder there but won't be anytime now
