bukit panjang MP is really working so hard to get so many bus services
and most of them are express service using expressway charging NORMAL bus fares...

they should adjust the operating hours from city to HDB... no need those 730am to 10am trip back to CLE/Pasir Ris... even normal sv12 only got few paxes during 8am to 10am at lavender mrt toward pasir ris.
974 stuck at the famous KJE Jams during peak hours

Don't think so...
190, 700, 960, 966 etc have been there for decades, and were introduced at the time when BPJ didn't have MRT.
972 was the result of 190 saga that blew up on social media.
971E is a peak-hour express service like 850E so doesn't count.
979 does use KJE but only to connect to Yew Tee.

190 has been there the longest. It was introduced by SBS.
Also note that 187 uses the former 951 sector between WDL and BPJ. Back in the day, the latter provided a vital express link between the two suburbs via BKE.

The only other new service that BPJ got is 973 that is quite useless and duplicative.

Tried 12e on 2 occasions and although the BC reminded everyone that’s its 12e before they tap their card, still some passengers especially elderly mistook it for 12 and were puzzled why the bus enter ECP. Maybe can consider renumbering.

12e only go to a place that is of cheapest, and affordable. Those rich man estate are excluded. Bedok South, Simei, Tampines, Pasir Ris for example.
Different as 147e.

I agree.. especially the old folks who usually board 12/147 at Chinatown face difficulties in differentiating the 'e' variants and BCs have a hard time explaining to people to not tap their cards as it charges express fare at every stop. Previously suggested merging 12e/147e as a single express service. Problem is whether it should be operated by SBST or GA...

44 go where?Punggol?
152 from where?Compassvale?164?Woodlands?
Those "e" buses have to follow DDU timing strictly. So sometimes normal buses is faster than the "e" buses

Just like Route 324 which serves opposition territory?

The problem of buses servicing Senja is duplicate heavily Sv 920 and Sv 972.No doubt more BTO flats are coming up in Senja area.. Probably another feeder route. Unless the slip road to KJE is made Bi directional in a few more years to come
poor ridership for 12e during am peak.
3 buses that reach bugis junction from pasir ris aroun 820am -900am have around 10-15 paxes each...i think they can use SD for the time being unless demand pick up...
Any news about 974? Do we need to wait till after chinese new year?
