Hi mr iveco, you will not have a chance to laugh. The honour of 68 goes to Go Ahead Singapore. Even if there will be s surprise but very unlikely, it will be Sbs transit. Cheers. Thanks.

Don't be so suprised if SMRT operate it instead,In BCM there will always be suprised.
Who would thought LTA awarded 110 & 944 to SMRT instead of SBST & TTS respectively? And 974 how come its TTS instead of SMRT?

Hi mr carbikebus, in 110 and 944 case, it is never mentioned beforehand who gets it before it is introduced. In 68 case, it is different. It is already mentioned that Go Ahead gets it in much earlier press releases. Cheers. Thanks.

Doesn't matter if knew ir not,it's not official yet..Can last minute award to other operators..SMRT recently have a lot of route training along Eastern routes.
The TV at Bedok interchange doesn't include 7A timing only sv 7 and also the queuing Lane doesn't have 7A included yet on the signboard.
I hope in future, svc 110,944 and 974 can integrated back with their package and operator.

7A and 7B should be full fleet MAN A95 from what I observe for 7A

7A got a few B9TL. From what I observed when 7A A95's is done doing 7A route they u-turn back to bedok interchange as Sv 7 as I saw some A95 entering as Sv 7. Today there is 2 A95 during full route full day - 5830 & 5845. The rest of the A95 that come into bedok are 7A. Funny thing at 2.35pm there suppose to be a 7A leaving bedok as the TV puts but 10 mins had past no 7A appear.

Probably people not familiar yet so they don't take the risk
I hope either Clementi or Bt Merah use number 1 as their new SVC.

Two swaps between 110 & 117, 944 & 974 will be good enough I believe.
Unless there's some political issues involved.

Not sure how many buses, but 7A have 39 trips during weekday and 7B have 40 trips for weekday.. pretty sure that the demand does not justify the need to have so many trips.

Still the unresolved issue of 61.

Bizarre amendment, so many twists and turns on an already windy route. Would have been better if Eunos-bound 61 skips C'wealth Dr altogether and turns straight into Queensway after C'wealth Ave and 122 gets amended to cover 61's stops along C'wealth Dr. Besides, most of the blocks along that stretch will be demolished if I'm not wrong in about a year, so removing 61 will hardly have much impact on its demand.

But i am unsure whether it will u-turn immediately aft commonwealth station (u turn big enough for DDs) or at cross junction there where the underpass is

Uturn right after Commonwealth station .
It will be tough for the bus captains to make the u turn right after the Commonwealth station bus stop, and again get into the bus stop at Commonwealth station again, at peak hours.
It may jam the road too.
It looks like our government will build Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail, which makes it easier for us to go to Kuala Lumpur.

It is a good route especially for commuters from Bedok to Bugis/CQ/Chinatown but not very sure if it would be "express" enough if you are taking all the way from PSR or Tamp to town especially since BCs has to follow timings strictly which results in crawling buses especially before it hits ECP for both directions.
SDs is sufficient for the demand currently and maybe can consider making it a Peak Only service on weekdays but full days on weekends.
Nowadays, operators are very strict on express service, all have to follow timings strictly that's why you see service like 518 crawl
