schedule runtime from Yishun Sport Hall to YCK station bus stop for 851E = 18 mins
schedule runtime from Blk 304 AMK to Little india station for 851E: 12 mins.
is this a joke? using google map timing already need 15 mins for a car under normal traffic (and assuming that the car is travelling at 90km/hr on expressway).
run time for 851E from yishun to New Bridge road 1 hr 5 min....

lol swapping both timings around would make much more sense, but 18 mins on expressway also need to factor in traffic lights along AMK Ave 1
maybe yishun sports hall to YCK station can cut to 7 mins (considering that Lentor Ave express takes about 4 mins)

Can be done ah. Continue to BayFront Ave instead of stopping at MCT, then turn toward Chinatown then go all the way to Kg Bahru. Add 10 more A22's will do.
Make a trunk version of 951E that terminates at KB. Problem solved.
But then again, 857 actually can go KB while serving Shenton Way. Like ADL says, go via Bayfront, then pass through Shenton Way, Cantonment, NBR then KBT.
857 really needs a terminating point IMO

I think theres a reason why some buses like 857 and 111 does not have a terminating point at the other end (eg marina centre). I guess it is coz they are used to maintain the link between other areas to/from suntec city/esplanade without the need to walk to the road served by the other direction. If need be, i'd rather 111/857 do a 961C style kind of loop round that area before terminating.
