Anyone knows how to get to e Zoo frm e east??
i.e: how to get there via buses or train frm simei or bedok??

Closest you can get is Sv. 138 from Ang Mo Kio, first you go to Bedok and take Sv. 25 DIRECT to Ang Mo Kio, before transferring to Sv. 138 which brings you to the zoo.

a) As mentioned, service 25 from Bedok to Ang Mo Kio Interchange and transfer to service 138.
b) Service 22 from Tampines to Ang Mo Kio Interchange and transfer service 138.
c) Take service 67 to Choa Chu Kang and transfer svc 927.
d) To save time from "c", you can choose to take MRT to Choa Chu Kang.
e) On Sundays and PH, you can take service 168 from Bedok to Woodlands and transfer to service 926, a Sunday/Public holiday service.
Above are some ways you can get to the zoo from East.
I would still recommend "a" or "d".

Alternatively, you can board a train to Choa Chu Kang via Jurong East, and transfer to service 927 at the interchange.
If you prefer to take buses all the way to the zoo, and if you are going there from Bedok, then you can board service 24 (to Ang Mo Kio) or service 67 (to Choa Chu Kang) outside Bedok MRT station, or service 25 (to Ang Mo Kio) at Bedok interchange. If you are going there from Simei, you can board services 9, 12 or 38 and transfer to service 24 (to Ang Mo Kio) outside Tanah Merah MRT station. -
Another alternative. You can also take Sv. 854 from Bedok to Yishun direct, and follow the same route as above(Sv. 171, then Sv. 138 )
