Fallen tree on Holland Rd

  Was waiting at the bus stop just outside the Thai Embassy at around 4.20pm for Svc 502 or Svc 105...waited for a very long time...crowds started to gather at the bus stop...there was a Svc 111, Svc 132 and Svc 36...but no buses from the other services like 7, 77, 105, 106, 123, 502...then some guy suddenly came down and told us there's a fallen tree on Holland Road...obstructing traffic...

  Yes, how long did you wait? Holland Road always has this problems, trees always fall along that stretch of road. The road was reopened around 5.30pm

  How do the bus companies solve the problem of informing passengers at the bus stops further down the route more efficiently if buses are obstructed due to unforseen situations, such as fallen tress over the entire width of the road? Or the bus companies just let the passengers at the stops wait and wait...?

  I did not wait for tat long...left around 4.35pm...

  It happened yesterday(27/06), a Sv. 123 B10M Mk IV Strider had a narrow escape when the tree fell in front of it.
