Yes, for example like Sv. 55, the double-decks are parked at Bishan from 10am - 2pm? Isn't it a total waste of resources?

I have taken service 186 many times before, between Queenstown MRT and Shaw Plaza. Single deckers can cope with the demand. The frequency is longer at about 16 to 18 minutes, and sometime comes the non air con Mk2 WA buses. I have no choice but to take it as I don't want to wait for another 16 minutes, the non air con MK2 WA bus can be quite warm inside in the day.Originally posted by off_service:Not sure about service 186, but the other mentioned services need dd during peak hours. -

Do you agree that SBST deploys non air con double deckers on average demand services due to a shortage of non air con single deckers, as most of them have been converted to air con buses?

I think that Express 502 may be extended to Marina Centre and either terminate at the terminal there or make a loop back to Boon Lay, just like Express 518 making a loop at city area.
As for Express 501, 511 and 512, they face a very high chance of being withdrawn.
As for service 85, the route between Orchard and HarbourFront via Great World City is still needed, I suggested before service 36 could be extended to terminate at HarbourFront if service 85 is withdrawn.
