Finally, Sembawang Way is linking up with Woodlands Ave 7.Originally posted by off_service:Hi forumers,
It's released in the papers that Sembawang would have a temporary interchange by end of next year. It is mentioned that new feeder services will be introduced.
Also, the bridge linking Sembawang to Admiralty will be completing by October this year.
Service 962 provides vital links between Sembawang, Admiralty and Woodlands since Tibs said they could not extend services 858 and 969 into Sembawang. I would not rule out that these 2 services will get withdrawn, or merging with other services since the bridge is completed.Originally posted by tranquilice:Finally, Sembawang Way is linking up with Woodlands Ave 7.
Perhaps with the new feeder services, services 859 and 962 may be withdrawn?
I agree with you. In my opinion....Originally posted by SBS9818A:Yes, maybe a dedicated service to replace Sv. 962 will be created, it will be routed from Sembawang Int -> Woodlands, and feeder services will be implemented to cover the old route of Sv. 962, IMO. Also possible is the shortening of Sv. 167 as well.
Originally posted by off_service:Yes, that is possible. Sv. 982 would cover Sembawang Drive - Admiralty St while Sv. 983 goes to Sembawang Rd End.
I agree with you. In my opinion....
Sembawang Drive - Admiralty St (Loop) will be covered by a feeder service.
Sembawang MRT / Canberra Road - Sembawang Rd End will be covered by another feeder service.
Sembawang MRT - Admiralty Rd West will be covered by a feeder service. However, service 981 might be converted into a full day service to replace service 980 on the affected route.
