Hi forumers,Originally posted by Zilchster:Saw the poster at the bus stop today.
Express Service 501 will be withdrawn.
Express Service 502 will be amended to ply from Boon Lay and looping at Marina Centre/Temasek Ave.
Tibs 106 will be also be amended as stated in the poster.
Of course lah, saving express 502 is like a backup.SBST is trying to force people onto the NEL, and what's more, its kinda of faster and definitely cheaper the last time I tried it. I think that perhaps express 511 and 512 will be withdrawn next, look at the pathetic freq. boardOriginally posted by 798:KNN! Not again! Exp 502 will becomes crowded as the time comes.
Who would want to pay more money standing with the crowd in the bus the whole journey?
Yes. Followed by Sv. 85, however Express 502 should be converted to a trunk service after extension. Good old SBST ripping off passengers again. Expect to see Mk IIs, O405s and 3-axle LOs on Sv. 502 from now on since HGDEP will no more control Sv. 502 (there goes 9888Y!)Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Of course lah, saving express 502 is like a backup.SBST is trying to force people onto the NEL, and what's more, its kinda of faster and definitely cheaper the last time I tried it. Disappeared?!Originally posted by Zilchster:The poster for the Amendment of Exp 501 and Exp 502 has disappeared from the bus stops today.
Kai Guan said SBST did not display notices at all for Sv. 27 and Sv. 163, or removed them after less than a week, they were extended nevertheless.Originally posted by off_service:I think SBS Transit is taking a move back and thinking twice about the withdrawl of Express services. They wouldn't have spent money on notices and take it away one day after the put up the notices.
Do you mean the extension of services 27 and 163 to Hougang Central and Sengkang respectively?Originally posted by SBS9818A:Kai Guan said SBST did not display notices at all for Sv. 27 and Sv. 163, or removed them after less than a week, they were extended nevertheless.
Yes, but my friend said they were removed a day or week after, I will hunt for Sv. 27 poster.Originally posted by tranquilice:Do you mean the extension of services 27 and 163 to Hougang Central and Sengkang respectively?
SBST did put up such notices, do you want to see them now? Find the posters on extension of service 27 in Changi Airport T1 and T2 basement berth. They are still there.
Hurry up and hunt the service 27 posters before they are gone.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Yes, but my friend said they were removed a day or week after, I will hunt for Sv. 27 poster.
Oh gosh!Where will 9888y be!Originally posted by SBS9818A:Yes. Followed by Sv. 85, however Express 502 should be converted to a trunk service after extension. Most would guess service 7, another popular service from HGDEP. However, there might be more services going to HGDEP, as after the rationlization exercise, HGDEP would have more space to contain more buses.Originally posted by SBS9810X:Oh gosh!Where will 9888y be!
Possibly deployed on Sv. 7, or some other HGDEP service worthy of Tridents. Sv. 80 will get several Tridents.Originally posted by off_service:Most would guess service 7, another popular service from HGDEP. Not only 9800A and 9888Y, how about the Tridents???
I have a feeling eventually all 51 VSOs will be based in Central District, as currently all of them except those two are based in AMDEP/BRAM.Originally posted by tranquilice:Do you think that 9800 and 9888 may be transferred to other depots?
