Well, buses or part of them will break down from time to time and the percentage is on the rise as now there are more air conditioned buses on the road.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:nwadays i'm encounterin more n more buses (sbs n tibs) wif problems in their air conditionin system....the air dat comes out is nt cold at all....
practically hot air bcoz of the engine heat.....
i tink they shldn't even put these buses in service....
its already so hot in sg esp in the aftn, creatin a hell of a time n u can't open the windows!
when u get dwn u feel dat air outside is so much cooler.....
Some of the buses already have inherent air-conditioning problems due to bad or faulty design like the TIBS Lance 211sOriginally posted by alwaysdisturbed:nwadays i'm encounterin more n more buses (sbs n tibs) wif problems in their air conditionin system....the air dat comes out is nt cold at all....

Rubbish. Lance 211 air-cons are generally in good condition. Rather cold. Hot award goes to Mk IIIs and O405s.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Some of the buses already have inherent air-conditioning problems due to bad or faulty design like the TIBS Lance 211s
Tend to agree with you. The Lances' problem is more of the bodywork design (aircon ducting too high up).Originally posted by SBS9818A:Rubbish. Lance 211 air-cons are generally in good condition. Rather cold. Hot award goes to Mk IIIs and O405s.
I tend to disagree. Maybe u can visit Yishun Interchange and take a photo of the "condensation gradient" of the Lance 211s. The front is all fogged up, but at the back it is clear like crystal and not a drop of condensationOriginally posted by BluBlur:Tend to agree with you. (IMO) For TIBS, the warmest will be those CAC 0405s. For SBS, I'm quite certain that the B10M MkIV (Strider) are incubators, in the hot hours of the day. It seems it is due to the engine easily overheating (engine/radiator making terrible loud howling sounds, like 2603Z).
Yes, TIBS CAC O405s are horrible. The loud howls on Strider B10Ms are due to the fanbelt, poor maintainance obviously. I agree their aircon is also very warm, but O405s take the cake!Originally posted by BluBlur:Tend to agree with you. The Lances' problem is more of the bodywork design (aircon ducting too high up).

If I sit at the back and find the a/c cold enough, don't argue. It's the problem of the air-con design, stop blaming the Lance 211s for everything!Originally posted by TIB1186Z:I tend to disagree. On the other hand, the ELBOs CAC have one of the worst aircons
