Yes, interesting. Do not forget Sv. 74 may get an additional 3-axle VO in place for 7273J.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Isit? Now that is interesting. A unique demonstrator on svc 77.....and probably another Mk III for 74 ( there are plenty of Mk IIIs these days on svc 74 )
I remember once there was this O305 of Sv. 74 that crashed into a gantry along Lornie Road, and the roof was scraped off, like the Sv. 198 Atlantean at Merdeka Bridge. Anyone know the rego and year it happened? Apparently the gantry was lop-sided, and eventually removed.Originally posted by tranquilice:74 is not a nice number. In the late 1980s, MB 0305 on this service have met numerous accidents along Dunearn Rd and Bt Timah Rd, reasons for crashing into roadside trees.
It's Service 196. Seemed like all non a/c double deckers have their fair share of roof-scrapping accidents.Originally posted by SBS9818A:I remember once there was this O305 of Sv. 74 that crashed into a gantry along Lornie Road, and the roof was scraped off, like the Sv. 198 Atlantean at Merdeka Bridge. OK. Somehow it's odd enough NAC double-decks always seem to have accidents. Like the Sv. 14 2-axle VO, and now the Sv. 74 one.Originally posted by Superbus:It's Service 196. Seemed like all non a/c double deckers have their fair share of roof-scrapping accidents.
