2 steps in the middle
Vogelsitze seats, a little too small
Underpowered
Uses EDS, the controls are like Tibs'.
Forgot to add that the "bus stopping" signs are similar to Dennis Lance 245s.Originally posted by off_service:Here are some of my findings and thoughts on the new buses:Too small for high capacity services.

Well, the reason why it has two steps is because it's a low-entry! The front portion is meant for elderly and the disabled. It's much like the B10BLE's rear if you ask me. These buses are what, 10.3m long, and have a capacity of only 30 seated pax. Of course it's underpowered, it uses a 7 liter engine!Originally posted by off_service:Here are some of my findings and thoughts on the new buses:Too small for high capacity services.

Hmmmmmmm, scrap them anyways. The ones I have ridden here in Australia suffer from bad turbo lag, and they already have the top spec 245hp engine! Definitely with its reduced length.Originally posted by off_service:Here are some of my findings and thoughts on the new buses:Too small for high capacity services.

hahaha, the Hispano O.405's have a door bell-ish kind of next stop "ding". Here in Sydney, the government buses and ex government buses have a bell, that ding's once. The Volgren bodied buses here also have a bell, but it sounds very UK-ish.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Definitely with its reduced length.
Pigs will fly when vogelsitze seats are wide and comfy like the SBS type....
The EDS controls are pretty similar....it only depends on the manufacturer and TIBS have all of them.....Trans Vision, LLL,etc
Interesting, wonder how it goes over some of the steep roads in Sentosa
Its okay that they use the lance 245 type bus stopping system...the chime is nice..ding dong, compared to the small green, flashing thingy that the 211s and the volgren 12m have that go "beeeeeee......boooooooooohhh" that can sometimes wake the dead and sleeping and its so damn high pitch and can be irritating at times
Liannex body I think. Eight B7RLEs and two B7R coaches in total.Originally posted by off_service:PA-registered Sentosa B7Rs are not low floors like those of Internal Shuttles. They use the normal coach body and chassis.
