The Straits Times today reported on page 3 of the main paper, of flying to KL for under SG$20. AirAsia was reported to have been in talks with several bus companies, including ComfortDelgro of SIngapore, which owns SBS Transit.
If the deal went through, ComfortDelgro would start a service from Orchard Road to Senai airport for the airline. They also have plans to start another service from Jurong.
Meanwhile, Handal Indah, which owns Causeway Link, has applied to LTA for a licence to operate a bus service from Jurong East Bus Interchange/MRT Station to Senai airport. Causeway Link already operates a service from Kranji MRT Station to Larkin Terminal in JB.
