Superstitious Thoughts

Remember there was a sudden sharp increase in bus accidents several years back; I think in the ~mid to late 1990s??
It seemed that there were many accidents from SBS back then??
And I remembered after that, many bus employees began to conduct prayers and offerings during the lunar seventh mth hungry ghost festival??
And then, the mysterious spate of bus accidents reduced significantly??
That's my thoughts...feel free to comment!

I heard some bus roads very 'xie'. Got ppl aboard bus no one alight. Esp the ones near fen mu chang.
When u take taxi u can hear stories too. KJE also got famous incident of female ghost flying n waving to u around mid night. Ask whether pretty or not they say I 'seow ah'. -

maybe if they stop paying attention to "ghosties" and superstition and start paying attention to where they're driving and the people around them, fewer accidents would happen...
i mean, i'm not that small, and standing at the corner of a street waiting for the lights to change and a bus nearly wipes me out when turning...
i don't think the driver knew that he was about an inch from mounting the curb... -
my record is nearly being wiped out by , a bike, a taxi, a running bloke.
