Great... who knows Hougang Central Interchange will finally have a Tibs service?Originally posted by oliver_yuen87:As realities of high overheads hit home, Transport Minister says SMRT can take over new train line or consider merger. (ST 29 Oct, Wednesday)
According to ST, SMRT chief executive Saw Phaik Hwa wants SBST to pay(offer in the terms of cash) SMRT to run the NEL.
To me, looks like NEL would be stuck with SBST... SBST will lose money and we won't have new buses...future looks gloom
I'm not too sure if there might be space to accomodate an extra TIBS service at Hougang Central after some of the services are relocated from Hougang South to Hougang Central when HG South will be shut down soon... HG Central interchange isn't exactly very large and doesn't look like there will be enough parking spaces for so many buses... Though I won't say it's impossible sinces TIBS has got 67 and 969 operating at the pretty crowded Tampines interchange too.[/b][/quote]Originally posted by foxtrot1985:Great... who knows Hougang Central Interchange will finally have a Tibs service?![]()
This is interesting... hmm, Jurong East interchange also did not have Tibs services. Only Svc 176, 178, 187 and 188 are outside the JE interchange. It'll be nice if Svc 184 can be extended to Jurong East interchange from Clementi. Hardly see Bendy Habit bus at JE interOriginally posted by SBS9818A:And Sv. 180, Sv. 172, Sv. 178, Sv. 187 at the even more packed Boon Lay interchange.
Hardly possible. I don't think SBST would allow it, since after all, JE Int is leased by them from the LTA.Originally posted by Smiley Volgren:This is interesting... hmm, Jurong East interchange also did not have Tibs services.
