Service 124 to loop at Telok Blangah Heights, not calling at Bt Merah Int
From Sunday 23 November 2003, Service 124 will be amended to loop at Telok Blangah Heights instead of terminating at Bt Merah Int.

Hmm. Seems like it's going back to it's original route of looping at Telok Blangah.

Telok Blangah where? Wonder why they made it loop at Telok Blangah, because of duplication with Sv. 131 and Sv. 605?

Service 124 has been enhanced to serve Telok Blangah Heights that are currently not served by other bus services.
It will enhance travelling as residents will not have to walk far to get to a bus service and the service will link them to the Outram Park Interchange but more to the NEL. -

Also, something has to be done to the frequency of service 273, the passengers waiting for service 273 during the evening peak hours queue beyond service 16 berth. -

Forcing passengers to take Sv. 273 down then Sv. 124 lah! I don't understand... Even if they have to loop around Telok Blangah to serve passengers, why would they want to make it a loop service? -
To SBST context, they may have thought that it would save all the hassle of looping instead of going around the estate and terminate at Bt Merah Int. I think they see it troublesome and it might be confusing for Telok Blangah Dr residents to check the IN/OUT cards OR Red/White plate. Loop services usually have shortworking trips from around 11pm to end of operation. Examples are Siglap-bound services (ie. 16A, 55A, 76A, 135A, 155A) -
