Service 96 is a full aircon service now. Do you mean service 95 which operate between Buona Vista and NUH?Originally posted by th1988:I think I would start a topic to see coments on services that are using mainly NAC buses.
For a start, I would write a few services and see whether are there more NAC buses than AC buses on the services from other's views.
Service 11 (Kallang MRT - National Stadium)
Service 35 (Bedok - TMFT)
Service 37 (Tampines - SATS Terminal)
Service 90 (Toa Payoh - RSAF PLAB) (Off course it is NAC on Wk days)
Service 91 (Holland V - Ayer Rajah Ind Est) (NAC Sv)
Service 93 (Enous - HarbourFront)
Service 94 (Enous - RSAF PLAB)
Service 96 (Clementi - NUS) (I heard it has been back to PAC)
Service 107 (S'goon - Shenton Way)
If others like 9818 or superbus would have the answer, I would ask for info on other services as they are bus experts.

Yes, but I pass by Clementi almost everyday, the only buses I saw on service 96 are MK3s with occasional MK2 CAC and nothing else.Originally posted by th1988:No, 96 has been converted to PAC on SBST e-guide. Check it out yourself
Service 11 - It seemed that from my observation, only one bus operates at any one time during the weekdays. Eg, an NAC MK2 in the morning, a MK3 in the afternoon and an NAC MK2 in the evening.Originally posted by th1988:I think I would start a topic to see coments on services that are using mainly NAC buses.

Service 37 also use Mk3. The current fleet of service 68 is all Mk3 if I'm not wrong.Originally posted by Superbus:Service 11 - It seemed that from my observation, only one bus operates at any one time during the weekdays. Service 35 - This service is stated as a NAC Service. However, since a year ago, a MK3 and an OAC Scania have been deployed during the morning and evening peak hours. I can only recall twice when a MK3 was deployed for the whole day.
Service 37 - Once I worked for a few weeks at Changi North Ind Estate, only saw OAC Scanias operating with a few occasions an NAC Scania was deployed.
Service 68 - Much like Service 37, saw only once an NAC Scania was deployed.

Sv 96 is now a fully air-con sv. It seems that the e-guide in SBST is not well updated. There are other svcs that are PAC, including Sv 3, Sv 6, Sv 19, Sv 29, Sv 74, Sv 78, Sv 79, Sv 90, Sv 125, Sv 151, Sv 154, Sv 155, Sv 179, Sv 186, Sv 191, Sv 192, Sv 193, Sv 199 and Sv 200Originally posted by th1988:I think I would start a topic to see coments on services that are using mainly NAC buses.

Yes, Sv. 153 and Sv. 155 have benefitted from NE corridor rationalization, they have become full a/c services. Sv. 74 is still a majority NAC service, look at the insane amount of 2-axle VOs.Originally posted by th1988:Wait, some services have been upgraded to FAC services after buses were freed up after the NE corridor rationalisation.
Services are like 3, 38, 60, 70, 78, 153, 155, 157, 165
74 is not exactly a majority NAC service... I take it everyday to school and I think a more appropriate proportion (at least for now) would be 70% air-con 30% non-air-con though this proportion can change significantly at different times of the year. Now because of the school holidays (for secondary schools and JCs), there are significantly fewer people boarding 74 in the direction of buona vista in the morning (surely can find a seat on the bus) and SBS Transit has been employing a larger number of single-deckered 74s than before.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Yes, Sv. 153 and Sv. 155 have benefitted from NE corridor rationalization, they have become full a/c services. Not forgetting the Jurong Industrial services too..

I have not seen any NAC buses on service 10 for the last few months. Perhap 3609 is a subtitute bus?Originally posted by Superbus:Nope. Service 10 and Service 38 are still PAC services. SBS3609 was seen on Service 10 last Wednesday and I board SBS3603 on Service 38 yesterday.
Service 68 still uses occasional CAC Scanias at least once a week.

Yes, that's right. I've not seen any NAC buses of any sort on Service 10 after the VO 2-axles were taken out. I was quite shocked actually when I saw the bus at Siglap Centre.Originally posted by tranquilice:I have not seen any NAC buses on service 10 for the last few months. Perhap 3609 is a subtitute bus?
I think that bus is not permanent on service 10. At least one Mk3 has been deployed on service 10 lately.Originally posted by Superbus:Yes, that's right.
