Sv. 107 Amendment / Withdrawal?

  Today at Serangoon Int, I happened to pounce on a notice meant for Sv. 107 drivers outside the control office. It states:
  
  

  Attn : Sv. 107 drivers
  
  Pls be reminded to attend a familiarization session on xx-xx November 2003 at xxxx hrs for morning shift drivers and xxxx hrs for afternoon shift drivers, in preparation for new upcoming route.

  I smell something fishy here. Why of all services only Sv. 107 drivers, and furthermore, their N113CRB fleet all have brackets for the "IN/OUT" cards used for St. Michael's services.
  
  The thing is, will Sv. 107 be amended or withdrawn? We shall see..

  I guess it will be amended.
  
  Why service 107?
  
  1. Duplication with service 853 from Serangoon Central to Kallang Bahru.
  2. Duplication with services 82 and 100 from Beach Rd to Shenton Way.
  
  From what you mentioned, I predict that service 107 may become Serangoon - St. Michael's.

  Service 107 to be plying:
  
  SERANGOON to SHENTON WAY via ST MICHAELS EST
  
  or
  
  SERANGOON to ST MICHAELS

  Cos in both directions, it goes In AND Out of St Michael's. So it uses Red/White plates instead, like service 155 (In AND Out of MacPherson) and 73 (In AND Out of Serangoon North), etc.

  107 not making money.few passenger.but if 107 is rerouted to st michael ,will it make money?so maybe 107 may be delected soon .

  Route ammendments are out:
  
  107 will be extended to Hougang Central. (Marina Ctr to Hougang Central daily)

  it has been confirmed in the sbstransit website 107 will be extend to hougang central.

  Do you mean Serangoon Garden? Is service 136 using the Red/White plates too?

  It only goes to Marina Centre on weekday evenings, Saturday afternoons/evenings and on Sundays/Public Holidays. The rest of the time it goes to Shenton Way.

  Transfer to other services, eg, Sv. 186, 124, 315, 317, etc.

  Sv. 136 and Sv. 73 uses the Red/White and White/Red plates, specially for Serangoon Gardens.
