Both Service 77 and 106 have route duplication for almost 35% of their total journey. From Holland V onwards, both services run the same route. Not to mention SBST 502.
I sincerely hope either route extend their route beyond Suntec, else I afraid in no time, either route will be cut back or withdrawn.
As a regular passenger of Service 106, I observed a significant longer wait for Service 106 since the change in Service 106 to Suntec. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify, TIBS web site did not reflect any change in frequency to Service 106.
Media paid attention to the unhapiness from residents along Northeast Corridors, no one aware of the frustrations faced by those commuters staying in the west who were affected by route cut back from Service 106 and 111.
I stayed in Buona Vista, I was not benefited by NE Line, yet I was affected badly by the route change in Service 111 and 106!!!

It's alway a stuggle whether to wait up to 25 minutes for service 970 to Commonwealth MRT, or should I wait upto 30 minutes for service 200 to Buona VIsta MRT from another bus stop, or should I just walk for 20 miutes to Commonwealth MRT?
As long as the bus companies fail to improve the bus frequency, especially those essential services that link residents to MRT stations, one will be detered from taking the trains.
