Update from TV:
Home in Toa Payoh used a DM3500 for a scene aired on 15th jan 2004. It was supposedly a Svc 151 bus and 'terminated' at Hougang South Int. I reckoned it's either a AMDEP or a HGDEP bus. The reason why HGS was chosen because it is not a busy interchange...
FYI: Do you know after the 'passengers' left, the characters were still in the bus for like about 5-10min??! So much for drama serials..... -
But Fiona boarded from SJI bus stop and the bus arrived was a Strider Mark IV. As for the filming, the time was at 2200

1. BNDEP XXX Central District
I suppose now BNDEP has some overflow amount of buses, that is why it could afford to transfer 1 VO 3 Axle (9527P) to Central District. There might be more transfer coming from BNDEP to Central Area. Hope that more VO 3 Axle to be transferred too.
2. 133 and 133A
Sv 133 didn't serve Serangoon Area in the past, cos Serangoon Area wasn't developed. The first few parts of the route was like this: Ang Mo Kio Int, Ang Mo Kio Ave 3/6/1, CTE, Braddell Rd, Upp Serangoon Rd, and followed the present route of today to Marina Centre.
When Serangoon Area was developed, 133A, as a supplement of Sv 133, served Serangoon Area. The route was the present 133 of today. During the late 80's or early 90's, Sv 133 was withdrawn and Sv 133A became Sv 133.
Way before 1986, Sv 133 was serving North Bridge Rd, not Marina Centre. However, the CTE wasn't built at that time. As a result, part of the first few route was like this:
Ang Mo Kio Int, Ang Mo Kio Ave 3/6/1, Lor Chuan, Braddell Rd, Upp Serangoon Rd, bla bla bla all the way to North Bridge Rd. -
