Service 966 pax was about 15 including me when it hit the PIE at 1840 hrs. It was the 1830 hrs bus from Parkway. I realised that this service provides me with faster links to Bedok Eunos and Marine Parade from Toa Payoh.
When Svc 36 reaches PTB 2, the driver will lock up the bus and disappear for 10minutes. Another driver will return to the same bus after that by opening the back door for himself to go in because if he opens the front door, the kiasu singaporeans will go up the bus when the driver has not even started the meter! lol...
Trust me, Svc 36 change shifts. The driver does not stick to the bus like all other services.
Yes... The ezlink system... Speaking of which I wonder how it operates at the PTB area for people using ezlink card - especially when the meter is reset at PTB 2 instead of PTB 1.Originally posted by off_service:You meant ez link system?
I read somewhere that the EZ Link software for Airport services and service 170 are specially programmed for the service nature. I'm not sure if there's any other services with specially programming EZ Link software.Originally posted by service_238:Yes... The ezlink system... Is it now fully controlled by BNDEP? What I understand is that the DD fleet is BNDEP-controlled. Correct me please.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:I can comfirmed that bus 9 is now with Bedok north depot . Saw 9432D with bus 9 sticker in Red . Bad News to me , No more mark 2s and no chance of Trident now .![]()
Sv. 9 DD fleet was previously from HGDEP, saw many of them going to HGDEP in evening peak to refuel. Must be a one-for-one swap for Sv. 197.Originally posted by Superbus:Is it now fully controlled by BNDEP? What I understand is that the DD fleet is BNDEP-controlled. Correct me please.

Not only the DD buses , a few single decks are from BNDEP like 2633L and 933J spotted yesterday. Now all the buses on bus 9 are based in BNDEP .Originally posted by Superbus:Is it now fully controlled by BNDEP? What I understand is that the DD fleet is BNDEP-controlled. Correct me please.

Agreed. Got that info from the service guide found at the PNG Interchange. Time to free some parking space at SK Int.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Sv. 83 no longer parks in Sengkang Int, it is now a Punggol - Sengkang loop service.
Stupid + lame deployment by SBST.Originally posted by SBS9818A:SBS 9827 / SBS 9828 on Sv. 70 in place of SBS 9837U / SBS 9838S. Boliao right?
Swop loh. 9837U / 9838S now perm on Sv. 25Originally posted by service_238:Stupid + lame deployment by SBST.
If that's the case what happened to e deployment on Svc 25? These cameos are from Svc 25 right?
Can someone tell me why SBST like to do this kinda stupid thing when the swap is actually of the same model??!Originally posted by SBS9818A:Swop loh. 9837U / 9838S now perm on Sv. 25
They have kids up there doing fleet deployment what.Originally posted by service_238:Can someone tell me why SBST like to do this kinda stupid thing when the swap is actually of the same model??!
Answer : NO.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:Can't they just put 2 VSOs on 143 ? I think they deserve the VSOs more then 25 .
I don't take NO as an answer unless there is a good reason behind your BIG fat letters "NO".Originally posted by SBS9818A:Answer : NO.
If SBST does that as a perm bus, I'll strike lotteryOriginally posted by Airbus330Captain:Can't they just put 2 VSOs on 143 ? I think they deserve the VSOs more then 25 .

It's practically impossible because some of its fleet (esp LO 3-axle & MB0405) is despatched from SLDEP. Moreover Svc 143 goes through roads that have uneven surfaces (Telok blangah Rd & Pasir Panjang Rd)
If anyone had noticed carefully, all VSOs goes through roads that are 'near perfect' condition. but then again who knows SBST may just deploy them any day?![]()
Very true! The tridents, VSOs and the new Volvo Single-deckers are mainly based in the east while SLDEP gets VO 2-axle, LO 3-axle and MB0405. Pity those in the west where they cant get a ride on the new buses that often unless they go to town.Originally posted by off_service:This is noted by some bus fans too. However, it is deduced that SBS Transit would "pamper" the East more than the West.
The good reason : SBST don't like pampering West services. Enough said.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:I don't take NO as an answer unless there is a good reason behind your BIG fat letters "NO".
FS, regarding your first statement, as far as I know:Originally posted by off_service:Having buses from SLBP doesn't mean they can't have VSOs. All current services using VSOs, with exceptions of loop services, uses buses from 2 depots.
This is noted by some bus fans too. However, it is deduced that SBS Transit would "pamper" the East more than the West.
Ok , I have to agree with you on this .Originally posted by SBS9818A:The good reason : SBST don't like pampering West services. Enough said.
