Wrong, 106 wasn't the first service to use superbuses, service 7 was the first as it was the trial service of Superbuses (9000S to 9009 the first ten). And I belive that the superbuses are from hgdepOriginally posted by th1988:If I'm not wrong, 106 was the first service.
7, 190 too used LO 3x. 190 used VO 3x mainly after becoming FAC in 1998.
In fact anything that was newly introduced during that time went to HGDEP.Originally posted by Scania:Wrong, 106 wasn't the first service to use superbuses, service 7 was the first as it was the trial service of Superbuses (9000S to 9009 the first ten). This still apply now. Besides the 49 VSOs, the others like 2888T, 9800A and 9888Y are all based at HG. The new demos will be based there too, right?Originally posted by SBS9818A:In fact anything that was newly introduced during that time went to HGDEP.
Actually the 50 B10TLs were ordered by AMK, but no idea why 9800A went to HGDEP.Originally posted by off_service:This still apply now. Besides the 49 VSOs, the others like 2888T, 9800A and 9888Y are all based at HG. The new demos will be based there too, right?
Perhaps after the demo Volvo DDs are in service, 9800A and perhaps 9888Y will be with AMK.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Actually the 50 B10TLs were ordered by AMK, but no idea why 9800A went to HGDEP.
I think they are likely candidates for transfer. Hopefully they both settle on Sv. 88, as 9888Y has Sv. 88 route details inside the EDS.Originally posted by off_service:Perhaps after the demo Volvo DDs are in service, 9800A and perhaps 9888Y will be with AMK.
Sometimes the logic works in ways we don't understand.![]()
How many times must we say 9888Y was NEVER on Sv. 88? It had Sv. 88 route details for advertisement purposes.Originally posted by th1988:Of course, 9888 once served in 88 in year 2000.
That aint called service I think the bus was for VIP services like what happened to 1688K and 2888T for service 3(and 84 for 1688K). They aint called buses on a service, those buses probably stop halfway and go back to depot like 1688K and 2888T stopping at Pasir Ris. If thhat was one day, it means 1 whole day, and that bus probably did only 1/2 a round.Originally posted by th1988:How many times must I say? I saw in my own eyes!
It was when TPY svs were terminating at the temp TPY Int and 88 parked just beside the SBS Office. That was in 2000, but it was on 88 for 1 day.
AFAIK 9888Y was NEVER with BNDEP. BNDEP controlled Sv. 88 back then. And also I have info from HGDEP staff that 9888Y was never on Sv. 88Originally posted by th1988:How many times must I say? I saw in my own eyes!

Sv. 88 is no longer with BNDEP. How many times must we insist 9888Y was a HGDEP bus RIGHT from the start, and NEVER went to BNDEP? It must have been posed.Originally posted by th1988:OK, I change the meaning
9888 was a cameo on 88 in 2000 for only ONCE. After that, it was never on 88 anymore. Ad for BNDEP, 88 is also under AMDEP/ BRAM, not sure as it uses LO 3x as well.
Also, it has the slogan "On Board SGP's first low floor superbus" right? It is also Volgren bodied, right?
