Hey there
how about compiling a list of bus deployment from the various depot in Singapore? (As in which depot does the service's fleet originate from) Some services are from 2 depots while others have 1. For some services with 2 depot, I dont know where the other one is.

Pardon my ignorance, but where are Soon Lee Depot and Ayer Rajah Bus Park located?

Ayer Rajah Bus Park is located at Ayer Rajah Crescent, next to Ayer Rajah Ind Estate and the AYE. -
After reading SBS 9816 E's post, I beg to differ. Service 168 should be from AMDEP (VSOs + some MK4 DM3500s) and BNDEP (VOs + MK4s / occasional MK3s). When did this service get buses from HGDEP?

Service 98 is from SLDEP only.
Service 14 uses buses from both BNDEP and BBDEP.
want to bet -
well.. no need to bet la.. respect each other's view.. no one is perfect so there could well be mistakes here n there.. we shld encourage healthy competition here.. n stay happie=)(=

my gosh..i too had a list..but da...i know for sure 14 is op by both BN and BB. BB coz SBS1999 belongs to BB leh..

found a few mistakes:
92 shd be op by BN depot along with 42 since the darts are in there.
39 is not op by amk dep otherwise we wd be seeing merc on it.
likewise 81 is only op by BNdep
78 and 79 are op by SL depot
78 buses were seen at AYBP the last i visited there.
93 is not op by HG depot otherwise we would ahve mark 2s like 1707 on it laiozzz.
136 is full amkdep. otherwise u wd see tridents on it wouldn';t u?
198 is NOT op by SLdep. otherwise u wd see Lo3x on it would u and mind u i have yet to see any LO3x on 198 since june 2003 so yes a ful depot handover has taken palce.

it's quite troublesome to have a Buona Vista service to have drivers drive to Bedok everyday..
it can be part AMDEP and part another DEP.. since it could have all its Tridents and others coming from AMDEP plus others coming from another DEP.. so it does not mean it's full AMDEP.. rather the converse is true.. -

And being in HGDEP doesn not mean u will see tridents.....there aren't tridents on svc 119 rite?

Also bus 92 fleet is not from BNdepot . Please note that the distance from Buona Vista to Bedok North is too long . -

Service 198 is fully controlled by BBDEP only. No other depot.
SBS 9555H is from BBDEP. It is on service 14. Other service 14 buses from BBDEP are SBS 9466G,9380U 9393H,9381S etc. Some I saw it operating service 99 which is only fully control by BBDEP. -

Actually 90 is a full HQ depot bus, otherwise we would see regular 0405 as well like 8. The 0405 are demo for one day.
That explains of the full scania NAC fleet. -
I believe the scanias at AMK might be shifted to HQ as only 90 uses scanias at central district and even in Singapore (I believe for NAC buses) other than 403 to strengthen the fleet as 8 fleets have lessen.
Service 8 have lessen trips after SBS found out that there were brunched up trips regularly and to make it worst, empty trips even. Also ADDs have lessen as well. -

That happened in 1999 with a 90 bus destroyed by a fire along Airport Road (Towards PLAB) and a 231 bus ramming into the temporary Interchange waiting corridor. -
I don't know about what happened to the Svc 90 bus but i know what happened to the 231 bus. The reg plate for that bus is SBS 3693 G. After the accident, it was fitted with airconditioning and it was the first Scania I see to be fitted with airconditioning. It now serves Svc 238 with an OREO ad.Originally posted by th1988:What? 74 don't use MK2 non-air-con buses regularly... Think even if they do, it was only temporary for 1 or 2 days only and it was quite long ago. They only use VO2 axles for their non-air-con buses.
