There are no Scanias in the AMK feeder services... All are 37xx or 38xx series... Merc buses that were converted to air-con... Unlikely, since the Scanias are NAC. They will most likely be used for Sv. 90 or perhaps transfer to BNDEP. SBST has an excess of NAC Scanias at BRAM/AMDEP right now as it is, and more OACs are coming in. I might add SBST are having lots of "fun" with the Scanias, transferring them from BNDEP to BRAM, then back to BNDEP and then BRAM again! Case in point SBS 3654U and SBS 3658J, ex-90 and ex-231, moved over to Sv. 293 for a short time and now are back on Sv. 410, very boliao right? -

Also SBS is considering stregthening 90 with the scanias formerally from 107 as the CRBs have been transfered to HQ with exchange to lessen 8. Service 8 oftenly have brunched up buses with empty trips and frequency of 1-3 mins during off peak.
Could it be because it is more profitable to use NAC buses with full loading than AC buses of full capacity due to the running cost? -

SBST has excess NAC Scanias and dont know what to do with them. That's why they're deployed on some FAC services, especially feeders. Wait, wasn't BRAM the one with excess NAC N113CRBs? I agree with 9818,
HQ has alot of excess NAC scanias, that's why they gave 90 an NAC fleet on most of the days and borrow other buses like 8, 157 to 90 on Sundays/ Saturdays or RSAF open houses.
If you don't believe, go to TPY Int and take note of the rego and the type during both peak and off peak. -

I'm based in TPY. It's a rare sight if I see a FAC Scania on 90 on weekdays. Some of the NAC Scanias on 90 include
