They will take Mk 5s. Leave the N113CRBs in BNDEP. Remember Sv. 101 plies SBST favourite territory.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:101 buses will be from amk depot, I suppose if they don't have enough, they can take some more scanias from Bedok north, what is your thought of this one?

Can anyone clarify whether service 92 belongs to BBDEP? I saw a off-service 92A last week along Bt Batok St 23.Originally posted by service_238:I'm updating the list as it has been quite sometime since i last post this.

Ok, noted. The service 92A bus I saw coming out of BBDEP is a NAC Mk2 WA.Originally posted by SBS9818A:92 is controlled by BBDEP. The Darts come from BBDEP.
SLBP sends buses to BNL and JE. For C'menti and the rest, BBDEP takes charge. Bukit Merah services are under BBDEP/ARBP. BBDEP actually has a fleet of 60 Mk IIIs for Sv. 170 but no more than 40 are used each time.Originally posted by service_238:I have one puzzling question.. If Soon Lee deploys most of the bus services in the west. How about BBDEP? Is it because of the number of 170 buses they need to deploy which leads to why BBDEP cannot deploy many buses and services?
60 for Sv 170 only? Doesnt SBS only have about 300 MK3s? So 20% of SBS' MK3s are dedicated to Sv 170?Originally posted by SBS9818A:SLBP sends buses to BNL and JE. Sv. 170 has only 60 Mk IIIs dedicated to it.Originally posted by leeJZ:60 for Sv 170 only? Doesnt SBS only have about 300 MK3s? So 20% of SBS' MK3s are dedicated to Sv 170?
Another question about Sv 170. Why doesnt a depot closer to Queen St take charge of Sv 170. Bukit Batok is quite far from the city...
Of the remaining 80%, 75-80% are found in the East District while the remaining 20-25% are found in the West District. This excludes the 170 buses.Originally posted by leeJZ:60 for Sv 170 only? Doesnt SBS only have about 300 MK3s? So 20% of SBS' MK3s are dedicated to Sv 170?

Last statement is not true. Sv. 168 and Sv. 161 AMDEP based buses refuel at BNDEP/HGDEP respectively.Originally posted by service_238:Of the remaining 80%, 75-80% are found in the East District while the remaining 20-25% are found in the West District. This excludes the 170 buses.
Right from the start 170 has all along controlled by BBDEP. Moreover there're lesser services in the west than the east. Hence, it'd be good for SBST to let 170 be controlled by a West District depot. i.e BBDEP.
Another reason on why BBDEP was chosen is that when 170 needs to refuel, its convenient for drivers from JB and Queen St to stop over for refuel at BBDEP as its practically 'along' the 170 route.
Let's say 170 is controlled by AMDEP, 170 need to travel all the way up north just for refuelling. It'd be very inconvenient for them, right?
SBST are now asking permission to Malaysia to increase the buses from 60 to 80.Originally posted by leeJZ:Thnx for the answers
But Sv 170 needs 60 buses? So many? Plus frequency is not too good...
That means it has the most buses out of all services?
The 60 buses include spares in case of traffic jams.Originally posted by leeJZ:Thnx for the answers

Why SBS pay special treatment to Sv 170? Because it goes to Johor?Originally posted by SBS9818A:The 60 buses include spares in case of traffic jams.
They need to because the Johor Government have special specifications that are required for the buses.Originally posted by leeJZ:Why SBS pay special treatment to Sv 170? Because it goes to Johor?
92A buses are from ARBP. Once saw a B10M Mk III with Maybank ad (717?), and the Mk IIs are from ARBP too.Originally posted by tranquilice:Not BBDEP?

Look at the quote (from this page) in the above reply. You mentioned that service 92 buses are controlled by BBDEP, and this should include service 92A. I have seen before a off-service 92A Mk2 NAC WA coming out of BBDEP.Originally posted by SBS9818A:92A buses are from ARBP. Sv. 170 gets so many buses due to its long journey time and constant jams in JB.
so who's right? BBDEP or ARBP?Originally posted by tranquilice:Look at the quote (from this page) in the above reply. You mentioned that service 92 buses are controlled by BBDEP, and this should include service 92A. I have seen before a off-service 92A Mk2 NAC WA coming out of BBDEP.
