The Darts are from BBDEP, any extra buses come from ARBP. It is also entirely possible for Sv. 92A buses to come from BBDEP, since BBDEP/ARBP are one entity.Originally posted by tranquilice:Look at the quote (from this page) in the above reply. You mentioned that service 92 buses are controlled by BBDEP, and this should include service 92A. I have seen before a off-service 92A Mk2 NAC WA coming out of BBDEP.
Ok, noted.Originally posted by SBS9818A:The Darts are from BBDEP, any extra buses come from ARBP. It is also entirely possible for Sv. 92A buses to come from BBDEP, since BBDEP/ARBP are one entity.
Yep, no problems.Originally posted by tranquilice:Ok, noted.![]()
ARBP has space for about 150-200 buses (?)Originally posted by cck_190:Just asking.. How big is a bus park? How many buses can it store?
Check the deployment list on page 3.. someone asked about which service controlled by which depot in another thread?Originally posted by leeJZ:How about BNDEP? I passed by on Sv 17 and it doesnt look too big...
Which depot is the biggest? (SBS + TIBS)
If for parking spaces... YIDEP should be the smallest.Originally posted by service_238:Check the deployment list on page 3.. someone asked about which service controlled by which depot in another thread?
SLBP - SBST
WDLDEP - TIBS
Smallest:
AMKDEP - TIBS
ARBP/BRAM - SBST
Well, that's because you looked at BNDEP from the 'wrong' direction. Looking at BNDEP from Bedok North Ave 4 may imply that BNDEP looked small compared to the size of AMDEP and HGDEP. Try to look at it from Simei Ave, at the T-junction of Simei St 3. From there, you could see that BNDEP stretches deeper and is bigger than what you've seen along Bedok North Ave 4.Originally posted by leeJZ:How about BNDEP? That's indeed true,BNDEP is one of the big depot in SGOriginally posted by Superbus:Well, that's because you looked at BNDEP from the 'wrong' direction. Many new buses of BNDEP as well as those which will be retired were also seen parked at this section of BNDEP. A good example of the new buses are the 94XX VOs. I've even spotted a Trident at this section of BNDEP a few weeks before the bus was launched.
Cheers and warm regards
BNDEP is quite big seen from Simei Ave.Originally posted by leeJZ:How about BNDEP? I passed by on Sv 17 and it doesnt look too big...

Same thing applies for the view from the PIEOriginally posted by SBS9818A:BNDEP is quite big seen from Simei Ave.
Yes. It's quite deep in.Originally posted by service_238:Same thing applies for the view from the PIE

actually ARBP and BBDEP are one. just like AMDEP and bram. buses of both places can roam around and since u saw 10 and 195, its either ARBP controls these 2 fully or partly.Originally posted by tranquilice:Quoted from page 3.
I was outside ARBP just now and I saw services 10 and 195 buses inside the bus park. So does this mean that services 10 and 195 are also controlled by ARBP?
By the way, what's the difference between a bus depot and a bus park? Why are some services controlled by a bus park and not by a depot?
Do you mean that the Bt Merah feeder services can park at BBDEP? And the Clementi feeder services can park at ARBP?Originally posted by service_238:actually ARBP and BBDEP are one. just like AMDEP and bram. buses of both places can roam around and since u saw 10 and 195, its either ARBP controls these 2 fully or partly.
I saw a 21 VSO parking in bram just now. does this also mean that 21 is controlled by bram?no
Same concept as Central.Originally posted by tranquilice:Do you mean that the Bt Merah feeder services can park at BBDEP? And the Clementi feeder services can park at ARBP?
As long as the driver can find the bus, should be no problem.Originally posted by tranquilice:Do you mean that the Bt Merah feeder services can park at BBDEP? And the Clementi feeder services can park at ARBP?
I thought some TPY feeders from AMK>?Originally posted by service_238:Same concept as Central.
AMK BSH feeders under AMDEP
TPY feeders under bram
In contrast, BTM feeders under ARBP, CLE feeders under BBDEP.
TPY feeders are under bram. Occasionally, they will use AMDEP buses for cameos. It seems like the 3 perm cameos 99S 127U and 173K have disappeared to AMDEP while 201M is in bram.Originally posted by freakybuses:I thought some TPY feeders from AMK>?
S'goon is controlled by AMDEP.Originally posted by iveco:Who takes charge of Serangoon feeders then? AMDEP?
Also, why does AMDEP control St Michael's estate? Isn't it more convenient for Toa Payoh to take charge of the STM bus routes?
Another interesting discovery I made yesterday, St. Michael's services come under the purview of Bishan Route Group.Originally posted by freakybuses:S'goon is controlled by AMDEP.
Perhaps BRAM is quite cramped... So St Michael's buses are from AMDEP. Btw, 400 also come from AMDEP.Funny but true.
