Proposed Service Integration

Hey there..
Just wondering if we could integrate services to create an extra long route and also free up interchange space
Svc 18 & 26 (Tampines - Toa Payoh)
Svc 69 & 26 (Tampines - Toa Payoh)
It will bypass the packed Bedok Interchange by turning into New Upp Changi Rd at the junction of Bedok Nth Ave 3 & New Upp Changi Rd
Svc 69 & 81 (Bedok - Serangoon)
It will bypass Tampines Interchange via Tampines Ave 4.
Svc 186 & 125 (Shenton Way - Sims Dr [Loop])
It will bypass St Michael's Terminal by plying Jln Rajah (same as 139)
Svc 163 & 139 (Sengkang - Bt Merah)
It will bypass Toa Payoh Interchange by plying Toa Payoh Central & Lorong 2 Toa Payoh
Svc 220 & 228 (To form another Bedok Townlink Service)
Svc 261 & 262 (To form another AMK Townlink Service)
These are just my suggestions. It's not sent to SBST. If anyone has any proposals, feel free to post them here.

Maybe I'll add in some suggestions...
1. Svc 69 & 29 (Bedok - Changi Village)
2. Svc 31 & 29 (Toa Payoh - Changi Village)
3. Svc 81 & 103 (Tampines - Sengkang)
4. Svc 151 & 119 (Kent Ridge - Sengkang)
5. Svc 86 & 87 (Ang Mo Kio - Bedok) OR
Svc 86, 87 & 18/38/69 (Ang Mo Kio - Tampines) OR
Svc 86, 87 & 17 (Ang Mo Kio - Pasir Ris)
(Alternatively, also can extend from AMK - Bishan if journey can still accomodate this extension) -
I think service 8 can be extended to Bishan bypassing Toa Payoh, it might increase loading as loading is not very high either.
Macpherson Road just need 1 sv to TPY. Leaving only 90 can force SBS to improve the full NAC fleet when the SV is actually PAC. This can also force them to introduce ADD as they told me it was not cost effective. Stupid reasoning w/o ADD trial on 90. -

IMO, I don't quite agree with the proposed integration of Services 18 or 69 with Service 26.
Service 220 has since been integrated with Service 290 to form Service 38.

Errr , I am definately against with you guys's ideas . Not only me but the drivers will be real pissed off
Anyway , I am currently quite happy with the east services and I see no need of a change perhaps a direct service from the north to Changi village , I guess that is it .
Anyway, nice ideas through but I hope those changes you guys mentioned won't become reality . -
There will be FIVE services to TPY from Tampines. Sv. 8, Sv. 28, Sv. 31 and the two amended services, OVERKILL! Perhaps diverting both to St. Michaels or Bishan would do the trick,Originally posted by service_238:Hey there..

Well you never know what SBS Transit thinks. They might just like to have another bus service as long-winding as 28.

Just see how many service from Toa Payoh to Tampines. 3 already is so much and you want to increase to 5. Siao ah you guy.

Actually SBS Transit could also extend one of the 3 bus services to Pasir Ris from Tampines to make it more even (2 from the respective interchanges to Toa Payoh)...Originally posted by PT21:

What, extend the already long enough Sv. 28 to Pasir Ris ah? When Svc 8 was originally introduced...it operated from Pasir Ris to Toa Payoh...remembered tat clearly...as to when it was amended...not very sure...hehehe
