Not new double deckers, but new additions. I think the Changi Airport Cargo Cplx services 9 and 89 uses double deckers since September or October.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Did svc 9 get new double decker buses?
Nope. Their DD fleet has been x-ferred from HGDEP to BNDEP. Sv. 9 and Sv. 89 have been using double-decks since August or September.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Did svc 9 get new double decker buses?
Sv. 9 originally got its VO3X from HGDEP. About two months later its DD fleet was x-ferred to BNDEP and as a result, Sv. 9 changed control from HG to BN.Originally posted by SBS9816E:b4 the rationalisation phase 2 of NEL was being initialised, SBS 9226 H was a HGDEP bus. It was serving Sv 85, and occasionally Express 501. After the rationalisation, it was a spare bus for HGDEP. When Sv 9 got their double deck buses, SBS 9226 H was transferred to BNDEP. That was also the time that Sv 9 changed from HG to BN.
Services 7, 32, 33 and 197.Originally posted by tranquilice:So that means only service 7 is still controlled by HGDEP? (Or has it been transferred to BNDEP?)
Service 7 is still controlled by HGDEP. Service 9 buses were transferred to BNDEP, in exchange for Service 197. So now Service 197 is controlled by HGDEP. Service 33 and 87 is also controlled by HGDEP.Originally posted by tranquilice:So that means only service 7 is still controlled by HGDEP? (Or has it been transferred to BNDEP?)
That's right. Service 33 has been getting more WA Mark 2s lately. And it's not surprising people might be mistaken between a CAC Scania and a CAC Mark 2. I myself is one of them.Originally posted by xin1jun2:SBS9229 is orgianl 147 bus. end of story
and svc 33 no CACs. the fella who saw it prob more cock eye than me.
sometimes u can mistake a volvo mark 2 for a scania by looking at its side. i kanna once. lolz. dun know why but DM (CAC mark 2) and alexander PS (CAC scania) bodywork i also cannot recognise properly...haiz

Sv. 87 is controlled by HGDEP because of the service belonging to SK Route Group, which is controlled by HG. Previously it was a member of Bedok Route Group.Originally posted by Superbus:Service 7 is still controlled by HGDEP. Service 9 buses were transferred to BNDEP, in exchange for Service 197. The number one sure way of differentiating both CAC Mk 2 and CAC Scania: Check the back windows on its left side.Originally posted by Superbus:That's right. Also, if you are looking at the right side of the bus, look at where the emergency exit is. For Mk2, the exit is next to the last row of seat. For Scania, the exit is beside the 2nd last right seat.Originally posted by service_238:The number one sure way of differentiating both CAC Mk 2 and CAC Scania: Check the back windows on its left side.
CAC Mk 2: Last 2 windows are of equal size and shape. No intercooler.
CAC Scania: Last window is smaller than that of the 2nd last window. There's an intercooler below the 2nd last window.
Do anyone have the complete list of the latest buses deployment on Sv. 9??Originally posted by SBS9818A:Sv. 9 originally got its VO3X from HGDEP. About two months later its DD fleet was x-ferred to BNDEP and as a result, Sv. 9 changed control from HG to BN.
Think it consists mainly of it's old fleet, just that the buses are now at BN instead of HG.Originally posted by billlmf:Do anyone have the complete list of the latest buses deployment on Sv. 9??
Only 2 swops to bus 9 since the transfer to Bedok North Depot. 9432D and 9378C , both buses previously on 197.Originally posted by billlmf:Do anyone have the complete list of the latest buses deployment on Sv. 9??
The buses have remained the same mostly, the buses have also been x-ferred to BNDEP.Originally posted by billlmf:Do anyone have the complete list of the latest buses deployment on Sv. 9??
