Scania L113 ELBO
The bus can be very warm in the day time but sometimes it's ok. As the aircon uses power from the bus' engine, therefore, when the bus accelerates (thus draw more power from aircon), the aircon gets weak and bus become warm.
Dennis Lance 211
Actually the specs of this bus is also Lance 245. For this, I can't explain why the aircon is like that. Front can be artic, rear can be piping hot.
Especially for Habit and Volgren-bodied O405Gs.Originally posted by Qoo`~`:issiT? i stil feel that tibs bus very cold.. esp at night for bus 61...
I tried opening the windows before for fun but it seems like there's something next to the window that i cannot open it. it's a piece of rubber.Originally posted by xin1jun2:heres a naughty thing to do..if u find the bus too cold...and the bus is a CAC merc (lol) u cd try opening the windows...i done it before on TIB758..so cold i fed up open the window.

Can be done. Many CAC O405s and Elbo L113CRLs have openable windows.Originally posted by service_238:I tried opening the windows before for fun but it seems like there's something next to the window that i cannot open it. it's a piece of rubber.

Scania N113CRB (CAC) aircon is stronger. Try SBS 3654U / 3658J on Sv. 410 to see what I mean.Originally posted by service_238:You should try the blasting of the VSO Aircon =)![]()
Oh that "freshener" which never fails to make me want to vomit, huh? Those regos listed aren't Hispanos, but are Volgren-bodied. And TIB947 - TIB957 are Hino HS3s, while TIB958 - TIB972 are O405s.Originally posted by ^tamago^:Jus to add one more bus model whose air con can be controlled via centre knob: Mercedes O405 Hispano Smiley Bus (TIB949-TIB972?)..
Also, TIBS buses have air fresheners installed that 'squirt' at times to give the bus a pleasant smell, unless if u're sitting next to it of 'cos.. it is this white boxy thingy with a red numberal LCD in front (it may be off) of it.. for Mercedes O405 it's usually found next to the rear door, Dennis Lance 211 at the panel jus behind the driver at the top..
i see.. i meant those O405s.. cos today i boarded one and was surprised to find the flips on the opposite side, or u can say, has a central knob controller.. yup.. Hino's i dunno.. do u know where is the only one Hino model in Singapore (i think it's TIB904)? used to be on Svc 927..Originally posted by SBS9818A:Oh that "freshener" which never fails to make me want to vomit, huh?
