Only 1 bus on Service 179 route?

Made a very interesting observation over the weekend...
I stay at the bus-stop before service 179 enters into a loop at NTU.
While waiting for 179 at the bus-stop, i noted the bus opposite the road which was going into NTU. I waited abt another 10 min. The same bus came out from NTU. Along the way to the interchange, I did not see anymore 179 opposite the road, so there's only 1 bus servicing?
Can't they have 2 single-deck buses instead of having pple wait abt 15 min for a double-deck if the demand is not high enuff? -

i was refering to only having 1 on service... the no. of buses in the interchange dun matter to the passengers...
u can have 100 buses in the interchange, but it dun mean anything... -

Yes, you're indeed very unlucky. how can there be one bus on 179 when i can recall perm buses of 179 like 9059 9065 7236??

like i said, it doesn't matter if a large fleet of buses is allocated to a particular service... if they are not on the road, it doesn't count...

Service 242 is full super during weekend and only 1 or 2 MBO405. -

Still remember the accident at Clementi Int involving svc 173(700X)
The bus of service 166 is SBS 276Y.
After accident, it was on service 242 until today.
And 7273J which involved in an accident on service 74 last mth, now 7273J was on service 249. -
7273J has a tinted rear window, if I remember correctly. 276Y has since settled on Sv. 242, and I believe the accident was between 276Y and a Sv. 147 3-axle VO, not the one involving TIB 700X.Originally posted by PT21:

arrives at oppsite bus stop
11.03 - 9058 arrives at the bus stop after the loop
11.09 - bus arrives at boon lay, along the way, no other 179 were seen
OOPS.... 5 min frequency?
