The services you quote above look more like MRT stations to me.Originally posted by kitoshizc:Hi. Any of u took any of e above special services on eve of Christmas or wat..?
So what bus do they use?
And how their service plate look like?![]()
Yup I know. Hehe. Anyway, could you define the various depot abbreviations for me? I think I am a bit lost.Originally posted by SBS9818A:There are such services, delon. I suspect various buses may be used as its individual depot-basis. PG/SK/HG would use buses from HGDEP, and SGN/AMK would use AMDEP buses, etc.
HGDEP - Hougang Depot, located at Defu Ave 1Originally posted by delonchew:Yup I know. Hehe. Anyway, could you define the various depot abbreviations for me? I think I am a bit lost.
Then, I think kitoshizc is referring to the night services because he mentioned on eves of Christmas Eve, etc. So, I was referring to his question when I answered his post.
I believe most passengers taking buses from town will rather take NR or NiteOwl services.Originally posted by kitoshizc:any of u took the special services? me want to take but too late..
It's SLBP. Correct terminology for it is Soon Lee Bus Park. That's what SBST call it themselves.Originally posted by service_238:In addition to that...
BRAM - Braddell Ang Mo Kio - SBS HQ @ Braddell Rd/CTE Junction
SLDEP - Soon Lee Depot - Soon Lee Rd off Pioneer Rd North
BBDEP - Bukit Batok Depot - Bukit Batok St 23 (if i'm not wrong)
ARBP - Ayer Rajah Bus Park - Ayer Rajah Crescent near NUH
BNDEP - Bedok North Depot - Bedok North Ave 4 near St Anthony's Canossian Sch

Actually I have another terminology for BRAM - Braddell Main Depot. Can anyone confirm its actual longer term for BRAM? Pls specify if its your guess.. thanks
Not really if they know the operations. AMK / Bishan services have buses from BRAM, while some BRAM services have buses based in AMKDEP (service 143 for example).Originally posted by th1988:But many will feel funny as it is HQ and some services are not based at AMK.
No its not funny and certainly very logical. BRAM is just a bus park, there is only a bus wash and limited repair facilities. It is the biggest bus park of SBST, and so SBST chose to build their main building there.Originally posted by th1988:But many will feel funny as it is HQ and some services are not based at AMK.
Example?Originally posted by SBS9818A:Some AMDEP services have buses parked in BRAM.
Certain Sv. 56 buses are from AMDEP.Originally posted by service_238:Example?
BRAM has the following services parked there.
Svc 231 232 235 238
Svc 31 53 55 56 88 90 142 145 155 157 159
