tibs shortage of buses?

  is tibs having a shortage of buses?especially if dennis lance 245 and scania 113 will be sold.what are ur views and comments etc?

  TIBS are short of buses, they even dare to sell 40 buses in favour for twenty new ones. The L113CRLs will be retained, Malaysian-made Lances sold.

  Correct. The church charters at least 30 buses for their activities, and that's per SERVICE!

  When did this CHC Charter start? Why didnt CHC ask SBST for charter? SBST has more spare buses on weekends.

  TIBS offer cheaper deals. It's been around since 2002 I believe, maybe longer.

  AFAIK TIBS has an excess of abt 40 buses on most days with fleet roations taken into considerations. but dun forgot the CHC charters. (using 30 buses?)
  
  and the habits 1242--1247 better come out soon.
  
  teh situation may turn into NOT ENOUGH BSUES (like SBS) soon iZYX

  i think tibs should keep the dennis lance 245 and also the put the city shuttle daf into tibs use and purchase the scanias.by the way,is city shuttle daf also selling?

  Yes, CSS dafs are up for sale
  
  Even if Tibs wants to transfer the Daf from Css to Tibs, they would have to re-register it, quite troublesome.

  The CSS DAFs are being sold although they are younger than the B10M Mk IIs and Scania N113CRBs.

  Nope. I saw at least additional 5 TIBS registered buses each weekend when I booked in as a recruit, for past 4 months.

  You're blur loh. The O405s are younger than the CSS DAFs lah. The CSS DAFs are younger than the B10M Mk II and Scania N113CRB.

  That's right. Almost all, with around 1 or 2 O405s used, with the rest being CSS buses on the Bedok/Tanah Merah CHC shuttles.

  So only the East services use CSS buses exclusively? I know Eunos has them, what about PSR/Tampz?

  Think the Jurong West shuttles. Saw some at Jurong Point the other time, however unsure if it's for CHC.
