The special machine is a note book with a Trident background. It can be found os SBS Office.
I've just confirmed that for the maximum fare cap to work (as for now, or 17th feb '04) you can only enjoy $1.90 fare cap for a trip, which may consist of multiple and unlimited journeys.. the condition for a trip is that:
1. the time difference between boarding of first journey and boarding of last journey must be within two hours
2. the time difference between boarding of subsequent journeys must be between within what is required (not too sure about this cos i have no time to verify it but i'm sure about condition 1)
so no whole day fare cap for bus spotters on adult cards..
