  yup i saw it todae when i boarded a Tibs bus at Yishun.. thought it doesn't really fit into the company's colours, Tibs or SMRT.. and it's long sleeve, at a time when SBST decided to let drivers wear short sleeve..

  Hmm..there is no indication in the news that the CSS drivers will sport the new uniforms also. But I think they will. We'll see this Saturday.

  I took TIB 778 X on sv 169, the driver wearing short sleeve.

  I think its up to driver discretion, whether they want to wear long or short sleeves.

  I liked their previous uniform. The flowery yellow one.. It matches the paint scheme of TIBS buses very well.
  
  This new uniform.. dosent even match the SMRT paint scheme!

  Hmmm... Seriously, I dont understand what's wrong with having lilac-coloured uniforms for Tibs and SMRT male service captains... They look very nice and friendly with their new uniforms, dont they? CSS service captain'll also be wearing the new uniform, as they're under Tibs You should also have noticed that Tibs service captains have to tuck in their shirts unlike previously, when they can choose to tuck in or tuck out their shirts...
  
  From what I heard when I asked a service captain, he said that the ties are only used for company functions... They arent required to wear it when they're driving, so it doesnt pose a safety hazard after all To me, the former yellow flowerly uniforms leaves me an impression of a cheerful and friendly Tibs service captain, whereas the new uniform leaves me an impression of a professional, friendly, cheerful service captain providing excellent service to greater heights.

  Today I saw one Tibs service captain, in the beginning I thought he's some office worker at HarbourFront.
  
  The new uniform although presented with a professional look, it lacked the friendliness of the old uniform. I still prefer the previous uniform.

  I like both the yellow and the lilac uniforms... But prefer the previous one because it brings the cheerfulness and friendliness of the service captains... You're right actually

  Having seen both versions it looks quite all right and decent, it wasn't the shocking pink we all expected. New professional look.

  Come to think of it.. Isn't it ironic that this new uniform better matches the colour scheme of it's competitor, SBS Transit?
  
  I mean TIBS is yellow, SMRT is red. But the shirt is light pink! It looks more like the SBS Transit colour scheme which is pruple and blue. Ironic..

  But then... You should ask SBS Transit then for why they chose Green in the first place Though I personally feel that the SMRT uniform matches SBS Transit more than Tibs and SMRT For the simple reason being that it matches the SBS Transit colour scheme more
