Is that details directly from the guide? or your own idea?Originally posted by th1988:I am putting KVN as HG Sth Int as of the MRT Stn name and HGN for Hg Ctrl Int as stn name is HGN. Just follow the MRT coding.
Why the increase from one dollor plus to five dollors plus? How much bigger than the past version?Originally posted by th1988:It is now on sale and it cost $5.25 ($0.25 GST). It is bigger than the usual guide and it gives bus stop details as well.
It is going to be a burnt hole as many are not going to but a guide that cost $5.25! But I'm ok bt it.
It is not called Transitlink Guide 2004. It is called Singapore Public Transportation Guide 2004. It is roughly the size of an excercise book. At first, I thought the size and price was that of the previous guides, which were sold at $1.50. I was surprised when the sales assistant told me it costs $5.00! It was very nice of her to tell me the price beforehand and she was even kind enough to let me flip through it. In the end, I declined politely.Originally posted by tranquilice:Why the increase from one dollor plus to five dollors plus? How much bigger than the past version?
Published by mighty minds?Originally posted by medicheng:i saw one version cost 3.90... anyone saw before?
Is it published by Transitlink? Why no 2004 Transitlink Guide?Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:It is not called Transitlink Guide 2004. It is called Singapore Public Transportation Guide 2004. For those who are hoping for the familiar Transitlink Guide, there wouldn't be any.

Is that your own coding, or the official coding provided by LTA, or SBST for that matter?Originally posted by th1988:For the NEL, the coding is this way

SKG (Sengkang Bus Int)
BKG
HGN (Hougang Central)
KVN (Hougang Sth, just call it Kovan as with MRT Coding)
SGN
WGL
PTP
BKG
FRP
LTI
DBG
CKG

Correct. I'd wait for the OFFICIAL, LTA-sanctioned version, which is much cheaper anyway. Not that I can't do without it, as I go on trips without using it anyway.Originally posted by service_238:Why?
I initial thought that the ACTUAL 2004 TLink Guide is out.. I didnt know you guys were referring to the S'pore PT Guide... It has been on sale since the first week of Jan AFAIK. I wouldnt buy this until the actual Transitlink Guide 2004 is out. Judging by the timing of 2002 edition which was released in April that year, I think the 2004 version would be released in March.
As for the 2004/2005 Singapore Street Directory, it'll be out the earliest June 2004, latest September 2004.

Although i rarely use them, i would collect the official ones for fun and for reference and for records.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Correct. I'd wait for the OFFICIAL, LTA-sanctioned version, which is much cheaper anyway. Not that I can't do without it, as I go on trips without using it anyway.
They will probably only update it for next year's version. If they were to update for every change made to any service, then there would be lots of versions for a year's guide already.Originally posted by SBS9818A:So expensive! And it's obviously been released too early, what will happen after HG South is closed? Print a V2?
