SMRT had predicted a daily passenger load of 50000, is it achievable?
Which CCL stations will see the most traffic?
Which CCL stations will see the least traffic?
Do you think CCL will have more passenger loads than NEL???
This is very true. Hope that CCL meets the targets set by SMRT and minimal bus services will be affected in the exercises.Originally posted by carbikebus:Honestly,if CCL does not have enough passengers, they will cut off or amended some bus svs same as NEL.Too many rails stn in s'pore i have to say, make me sickThis is just my opinions only,no offences intended.
Gong Xi Fa Cai to all,Enjoy your holidays!
i am concerned. they have once again projected numbers like 500 000. there is a sense of deja vu - look at NEL.Originally posted by iamgoondu:Do you think CCL will have enough passenger loads when it start rolling in 2010?

Asked about her expectations of the Circle Line, which her company will operate, she said that SMRT is 'very bullish' about its prospects. Its calculations match the Land Transport Authority's of 500,000 passengers a day, she added. The Circle Line, which will have interchanges at Bishan, Serangoon and Paya Lebar, is scheduled to open in stages from 2007.
NEL was over designed? or CCL will be sardine packed? Estimation for CCL was so much more than NEL and yet the number of carriages is half of what CCL is having.....Originally posted by sbs&tibs:CCL train has only 3 carriage.
CCL is a medium-rail system. I think NEL trains can do with 4 carriages.Originally posted by iamgoondu:NEL was over designed? or CCL will be sardine packed? Estimation for CCL was so much more than NEL and yet the number of carriages is half of what CCL is having.....
Put 2 long bendy buses to travel side by side to ply on the CCL route now, and you will see if there is a demand for that.Originally posted by SBS9818A:CCL is a medium-rail system. I think NEL trains can do with 4 carriages.
