I have a friend that says that is a presence of the following services.
18A (BDK - Blk 201E) 23A (TAM - Temasek Poly) 38A (BDK - Tenah Merah MRT Stn) 8A 26A 506A
He added that they run for a short period of time and they dont have these services on the bus stops. He also said that some of them are under trial runs. Some of which are going to be operated during the Temasek Poly open house on 12 -14 Feb (i.e 8A, 23A)
As for 38A, i got a feeling it will be introduced soon. As for the rest,
I do not believe. Do you? -
I doubt the 23A example. There already has been shuttle services from Tampines Central to Temasek Polytechnic, operating in the morning hours. During the Open House, the service hours will be extended (Details are sketchy at the moment though). Thus I am pretty sure there will not be any "special" services for the Open House.

I have my doubts about 506A. Why introduce a short service on an express bus? As for the rest, just have to wait and see.

I only agree if 8A and 23A were to be implemented. But to be operated only during the TP Open House? I doubt so. Even if it is, it could be a coincidence. Here are my comments: Service 18A - Superbuses and 2 artics is enough to cope with the demand. Service 38A - Service 12 and Service 38 is enough to cope with the demand up to Tanah Merah MRT. Service 12A from East Coast to Tampines Ave 7 during the AM peak is more logical, the student pax on this service is kerazeee most of the times. Service 26A - I just don't see where the demand really is for such a service. Service 506A - Refer to Service 26A.

Ps. I've editted my comments on Service 18A. Initially I thought the proposed Service 18A is to ply Tamp Int to Tamp Ave 2 (Blk 302). -

I was so fed up with him just now because he kept insisting that i'm wrong. I told him that 26A is impossible to be implemented, especially where there're many other alternative buses along its route. He said that SBST is testing the route..
As for 506A, its impossible where it doesnt even enters the city like 518. 518A is very logical for operations as no one would take 518 from the city to the estates so early in the morning.
I refused to believe him, especially when he's not even someone who's into the bus line like us.
