Hell!!! Just came back from Holland Village to Jurong and it cost me 18 bucks including midnight! I've taken back from there and it usually cost around $14-$15.
That driver purposefuly took the longer route!
Instead of the usual commonwealth Ave West-Boon Lay Way or AYE via Bouna Vista, he went to PIE via farrer!!!
And i was telling him to take the commonwealth ave west route but he just kept driving and has the cheek to tell me that my suggested route has a lot of traffic lights!!!
I'm not complaining because of the fare, but f#@%!!!
Aren't the drivers educated on these stuffs?!?!?
You can record his taxi plate number and launch a complain to the taxi company. What taxi company was he from?
The Taxi driver by right should follow the way you recommand. Most times I took, they will ask me which way will I go.
Indeed the taxi driver is compelled to take the route you asked him to. You may wish to lodge a complaint to the relevant company.
