  I think when I saw DD on service 40 was the time it was still plying Telok Kurau Rd.

  I've been an almost daily passenger on Service 1 when I was young, and there were never DDs on it. My dad reconfirmed when I checked with him. Sheesh, he even remembers how the buses on Service 1 looked like.

  However for Services 382 & 385, only the latter operated DDs. And the DDs used was the MBO305s before being replaced by the VO 2-axles. What I understand is that, HGDEP never operated the LO 2-axles, at the point of time Service 385 had DDs, that is.

  185 has never gone to shenton way. It was a loop service all the way at jalan anak bukit until it became 985.

  Before service 185 was cut short to Jln Anak Bt in 1993, it operated from Choa Chu Kang to Shenton Way, via Dunearn Rd, Farrer Rd and then continue with current route of service 186 to Shenton Way.

  Yes, looking at how narrow and winding Siglap Rd is I'm quite confident DD have not operated on Sv. 40, not that the load is that fantastic anyway.

  I checked with my dad and he said Service 40 did ply Telok Kurau Road before its current route (Siglap Road), my 1985 Bus Map also confirmed that. However, he insists that Service 40 never did have any DDs operating on it.

  300, 307 used VO 2x
  302 used Atleantean
  
  I think you are at CCK as you are using 190 right? If that's the case, then you should have saw it before Tibs took over.

  I remembered back in 1994, I took a DD on service 187 (Bt Panjang - Boon Lay), the seats are red in colour.
