Can someone tell me why SBS make 119 to duplicate the LRT between Kangkar and Rumbia?
119 was introduced to complement the school childrens? As the demand is not very high after all. -

basically reinroduced after the outcry from residents in SK after losing 85. if u notice closely 119 is indeed 85 till kovan there.
however the service has low loads during off sch hours....crapz

But it will be confusion, peak hour only means 0600-0900 and 1630-1900. Aft school hrs is not considered peak.

You might as well extend it to Serangoon to serve Serangoon - Sengkang serving 321 rt. So that it will be a trunk service.
Making it a day service would have some consquences, some passengers would complain that the service only serves 0515-1900 (Wkday) 0515-1400 (Sat) and no op on Sun/PHs. It cannot use the model of sv 6 as it is serving a new town. -

860 was the only rt out other than 82, so demands were higher. But now there is NEL to town and 136 serving sch students. -
It's better to have more services otherwise people will complain of long waiting times. Moreover 136 could not cope with the demands of school children and hence svc 119 was introduced to complement 136.
