Hehe. My start point is the entrance into BKE from Woodlands Ave 3 and end point is bus stop opposite CJC.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Don't forget the traffic lights at Woodlands area and bus stop times. It's likely the buses are going slightly faster than 60km/h.
Taxis do not have speed limiters, but they have a chime that is activated at 90km/h, I think. QX-plate vehicles also do not have speed limiters, though some of them are legally-limited to 60km/h, but all of them (at least police vehicles) have a chime at 90km/h.Originally posted by tranquilice:Are taxis here installed with speed limiters? I dunno if they are installed but in my opinion they are not, I have experienced taking taxis that travelled at more than 60km/h in the early hours of the morning.
Yes, you are correct. Taxis have a speed warning device which goes 'ting tong' whenever the driver exceeds 90km/h. Army vehicles are restricted to 50km/h and the army cars are restricted to 80km/h. They have speed warning devices which have counters. Once the device has sounded 10 times, the device will jump 1 counter and the driver can say Hello to Detention Barracks.Originally posted by Yusry:Taxis do not have speed limiters, but they have a chime that is activated at 90km/h, I think. I know this thread has been long over but I would like to add something.Originally posted by Superbus:Yes, I'm aware of that. But th1988 pointed out that CCK/BB/BP was handed over to TIBS because CCK/BB/BP was considered a North district by LTA. Is that the real reason for the exchange, apart from the NEL reason?
Cheers and warm regards
I have suggested this to SBS before. It involves the renumbering to 183 and calling at bus stops along Boon Lay Way and Holland Rd.Originally posted by tranquilice:Express 502 should be converted to trunk service or integrate with another trunk service.
